the just released schedules were a flat-out statement that the B10 doesn't believe SOS will matter in playoff selection

| 2 weeks 6 days ago | This probably means the end of many non-conf. road games |
With the possibility of only having 4 home games in a season, I think that it probably means that we are done scheduling road games in the non conference schedule every other year. This also probably means more games against MAC foes at the Big House, since money talks. |
| 4 weeks 6 days ago | It should be entertaining! |
I always root for someone to win their first major, and I would love to see Westwood, Rose, Kuchar or Snedecker win. |
| 6 weeks 4 days ago | Best wishes, Jacob! |
He was a stud at the World Juniors, was one of our best players this year and he is ready for the pros. The fact that Jacob is a right-handed shot is also huge given the dearth of defensement with his skill set. |
| 7 weeks 5 days ago | Both are ready |
I wish them well whatever their choices are. |
| 7 weeks 6 days ago | Thanks for posting! |
An Oberon with an orange wedge is heaven in a bottle! |
| 7 weeks 6 days ago | Thanks for the ride! |
This was some of the most exciting hockey I have ever seen / listened to down the stretch. It is hard to believe that this is the same team that I saw lose in pathetic fashion to Cornell at Madison Square Garden earlier this year. I wonder how many of these guys come back next year who could play pro next year. I would love to see another year of Trouba. I also wonder how many more years Red wants to coach here, and it will be wierd for him to not be in a tourney. Good show, boys, and let's get them next year! Go Blue! |

Damn, Son! My name is Brady Hoke. Can you play football? |
| 8 weeks 5 days ago | I really do |
This is the same reason that I stopped doing fantasy football too. |
| 8 weeks 6 days ago | Thanks for the stream! |
I am watching the live stats for MSU/Miami, too. |
| 8 weeks 6 days ago | Great bracket for us |
Shaka is a college buddy (Kenyon undergrad, Michigan grad school for me), and I would love to see that matchup in the second round. I love all of the teams who play fast, becuase Michigan is almost unwatchable in the half court (esp. if teams can keep Burke from getting the ball). This should play to our advantage, and you've got to beat the best to the be the best. Let's enjoy the ride, and hope that Trey and company can make some memories for us before the team turns over a little next year. This was a special team to watch, and we should enjoy it while all of these guys are still here. |
| 8 weeks 6 days ago | How many years until we are competitive? |
Do you think Coach Paul could have our team competing with most of the squads in two years, or do you think it will take longer? How many recruiting classes will it take? I am just curious, and I think that we need to be patient. Also, where else do you think it would make sense to try to play in the next couple of years to build some brand awareness? I think Boston, Denver, Philly and San Fran would make sense. Go Blue! |
| 8 weeks 6 days ago | Is there a radio link for the game? |
I did not see anything on mgoblue.com. |

Awesome win tonight, and I love watching Trouba! Go Blue! |
| 9 weeks 1 day ago | Rod Brindamour was a man among boys in the CCHA |
I know that he is from MSU, but it was obvious in his one year of college hockey that he was incredible. |
| 10 weeks 2 days ago | What about Shakey Jake? |
I remember seeing him all over the place when I was a student. The list is pretty sound beyond that, though, and I have to admit that I loved studying in the grad school library reading room. The place was gorgeous, and it was really a comfortable place to dig into my work. Dominick's was outstanding, and I loved the Sangria in the jars. Another favorite haunt was Mr. Spots for a late night wing excursion. Another staple for me was a leisurely visit to Borders, which sadly no longer exists. Man, I cannot wait to get back for a game next year, as it has been too long. |
| 11 weeks 4 days ago | I think it is a great move for Detroit! |
Less travel, and more games with Toronto, Boston and Montreal. No more division games against Nashville and Columbus is also great. On top of that, the Wings have significantly fewer west coast games, so fans can watch most of their games. I believe that Detroit would still play Chicago at least once a year at home and away, so they would not completely be off the schedule. To be perfectly honest, I would like to have seen all orignial six teams together in one conference, but Bettman would never let that happen. |
| 12 weeks 15 hours ago | Thanks for the reply! |
I wondered about this when I listened to the game, since we lost so many draws. |
| 12 weeks 15 hours ago | A contrarion view |
I know that this would not be the usual approach, but what about offering the job to a successful high school head coach at a program that has tons of talent? This would be especially interesting if it could open up a pipeline to a school or area where Michigan has not had much success (a big time program in Georgia or the like) If they go the alum route, I would vote for Cato June. |
| 12 weeks 18 hours ago | Question for any of you who know something about lacrosse |
What is the prototypical size for a faceoff man? I saw that Brad Lott was very highly rated at the position in the last class, but I was surprised how small he was. |
| 13 weeks 17 hours ago | These guys from Bellarmine are good, and we will get better |
It would be great to have the offensive firepower to run an up tempo game like Bellarmine, but it will take us a while to bring in the talent to do so. Coach Paul and his squad play hard, and we will probably have to win ugly for the next couple of years given the state of our roster. I would love to see the younger guys get as much time as possible, so that they are hardened vets in a few years. |
| 13 weeks 17 hours ago | Bellarmine is good |
Schmidt and Timmerberg are the best players on the field. Thankfully, Logan has been pretty good in goal. |

Are they down until faceoff? |
| 15 weeks 5 days ago | I love it! |
More Big Ten games, and we can play one directional tuenup followed by a better game against a team from a BCS conference. |
| 16 weeks 3 days ago | First Ballot HOF |
Without a doubt he is in on the first ballot. He dominated from day one, and he will retire when he is still playing at a really high level. Ray is one of the greatest ever to play LB or defense for that matter, and it will be interesting to see what happens to Baltmore if Ed Reed joins him in retirement post super bowl. Ed is another all time great, but it is remarkable how Ozzie Newsome has built up the offense so well. |
| 17 weeks 6 days ago | That secondary is going to be loaded for a while. |
One has to wonder if Webb will be able to play as anything more than a nickel corner given that Cam Burrows and Eli Apple are coming in next year. I wish him well, but not when we meet in the game. |
| 17 weeks 6 days ago | Ken Pom was right on. |
Too bad, though. |
| 19 weeks 3 days ago | 8-4 |
Losses to ND, MSU, OSU and PSU. |
| 19 weeks 4 days ago | Let's hope Devin gets his redshirt |
I could get used to watching him at QB for the next two years! |
| 20 weeks 2 days ago | The last comment about Tommy T. cracked me up! |
Leave it to the ESPN shill, Mike Patrick, to say that Cincy hired a man "of great character," given what we know about the circumstances of his exit. |
