Revised opinion on Harbaugh
When he was hired, I loved it. After the last 10 months, and especially after last night, I love it even more. He acknowledged what happened, didn't single anyone out, and represented us with class. This-despite being in obvious agony over the loss. He made what he thought was the best decision, and it blew up in his face. Still a great coach, and I am proud to have him. (I still feel as if my soul was torn out, doused with acid, then set afire. I know he feels way worse than that, and somehow that makes me feel at least a little better.)

I think it might have been against Penn State - we were up 3 and we ran a play where we snapped the ball to Breaston, and he ran around in the back of the end zone while the whole team held to burn out the clock before running out the back for a safety. Obviously the last part wouldn't work here, but I wonder if you can feasably give the ball to Chesson and have him run around for 10 seconds while the line blatently holds there.

And in every case the unthinkable, unimaginable and unexpected could happen: you bobble and drop the snap! There is no certain way to prevent that. If we played that last play a hundred times you would probably only see it happen one time like it actually did. Maybe the Harbaugh pot just needs to keep simmering and boiling--this is a long haul view, but in the end i like the idea that JH has a year to chew on this one and come up with something real special.

Conducted himself in the most favorable manner possible last night in the press conference.
Everthing that he said was simply right on.
I would love to play on his team.

Seems fine to me, especially when Dantonio passed up the hand shake in order to talk shit to the fans.

Not worried. We won that game, just didn't get the victory. If we had a QB that could at all hit downfield throws we blow them out of the water, even with the uncharacteristic defensive performance.

the punt cleanly it still would have gotten it off?
Blake usually takes three steps to his right before punting it. MSU had three what appeared to be unblocked rushers coming off that side. One of then picked off the ball and ran it in for the TD. Blake really didn't have that much time.

We are far above what any of us thought we would be . I honestly say every year at the start 12-0 ,because i am a dumb homer. But i really was thinking 9-3 ,and we can be there or better still, with this team. Yes ,losing a game like that sucks, and i am as everyone else pissed & depressed, but Michigan Football needs to go on and run the table from now on . As I live and die blue, like all of you .
GO BLUE FOREVER.

You loved Harbaugh when he was hired and now you have revised your opinion...to love him??
I personally haven't really changed my view. He's an excellent coach, the best we could possibly get in that situation. He's done well so far.

Glad you started this thread
I could not watch replays long after game, but when they showed Harbaugh and how he handled it, I was so impressed.
He didn't shout, show anger, nothing. Can you image Brian Kelly?
His comment about steel spine. Just great.
This is the worst loss I can remember and still in shock. But other than dealing with Sparty slappies, we are in a good place.

Our punt team and to a lesser extent the refs blew this game.

If he'd just fallen on it, we'd all be talking about what a great game o"niel had. I mean, he had an EIGHTY YARD PUNT!!
Just goes to show the cruel vicissitudes of football, I guess.
