Way OT: RichRod does the Whip
I wouldn't dare post this in the middle of the season, but it might be good for some pre-season laughs:

I'll go out on a limb and guess you're under 28 and can't remember the days when it actually took talent to make a song that gained national attention, as opposed to nowadays when anyone with a drum machine and 2 bong hits can post garbage online for national consumption.
This song is so bad I'd rather be handcuffed to a toilet stall next to Charlie Weiss and listen to his sphincter pay homage to the 5 buckets of diablo chilli con carne he'd earlier capped with a gallon of lactose enhanced whole milk than have to listen to it. It's so bad I'd rather jam my head up Charlie Weiss's ass than ever have to listen to it again.
So yeah. It's objectively bad.

So that one scene with the green grass? You can't imagine what it takes to keep grass green in the summer here in Tucson. Answer: a whole lot of water.
Go a mile or so outside of town and this is what you see:
But that said, Tucson is one of those cities with a dual water supply -- water for drinking, and reclaimed water for irrigation. So where there is grass (campus, parks) the water is from the reclaimed source.
That has nothing to do with hot gymnasts doing "The Whip" ... but there ya go.

That is excellent.
That's awesome. So glad he seems to be having fun. I hope he makes Arizona the best team in the conference. It'd be awesome to see him win a Rose Bowl or something.

under RR we won more games in each of three years. As low as the bar was it still existed. Under BH we went into a tailspin, no matter how lucky he was his first season with a well coached offensive lines and one of the most productive offensive players of the past decade, we lost more games each season. That is a downward trajectory and something most people grasp when they learn our number system.
I am actually happy RR has a place he likes and that likes him. Was he a good fit here? Oh Hell no. Was BH, on Hell no with more emphasis. We did allow him though for however brief it might be should he luck into another job, to raise his lifetime winning pct. to over .500. It should take him two years at his next stop to fall under that again.
That's like asking if you'd rather have a root canal or tonsilitis.
I'll take Harbaugh.
Just feels like it was missing something. Like it was a little too low. If only there was a song that could raise the whole thing up.
what the hell did i just watch!

I love that any time a popular song is mentioned, half the population feels the need to deride "how terrible" it is.
Please go back to your carefully manicured lawn.

Isn't that what your parents said about "Muskrat Love" when you used to wear out the Captain & Tenille, Cranky? It's totally generational...

Your tolerance level depends on your IQ level.
What one person thinks "is inherently bad," another person thinks is awesome.

I'm not saying I love this song, but I just find music snobs to be insufferable. Usually, they are deriding some pop song that is the current flavor of the month - songs which are not exactly intended to be Mozart.

How did bullshit like the Electric Slide and Macarina get popular in your heyday?
Go back to your day job old man.

The cheerleaders whipped it good--Rich Rod did not.
Since you mentioned it, would have loved to seen them do it this song....
but that was a bit cringeworthy. Arizona's done quite a few since Richrod has been there (which is alos the same time since Michigan fans became aware of anything at all happening with Arizona's football program)
