Doug Jarvis record is 964 games (says so in the twitter link).
265 games to go 3.25 seasons. Hopefully we can meet back up to discuss in 2018!

"People dislike Cam because he showboats while calling it "having fun". People like Russell Wilson because he can win with good sportsmanship."
For me its how level the player is. Russel Wilson approaches everything very workman-like. He is calm and even keel win or lose.
Here is Wilson at arguable his lowest point (something like 30 minutes after the super bowl INT last year).
Clearly he is bummed out but he does what you are supposed to do. What you learn about sportsmanship from the time you are 5 years old. You compliment the other guy. You don't direct any blame unless its at yourself. You stand up and be the leader your team needs you to be when they need it the most.

"Did he have a worse game than Peyton Manning?"
Why is this relevant? Going into this game did anyone expect Manning to go out and light it up for 400 yards? No he needed to go out and give the defense a chance to win the game. Once they got the 10 point lead it was reel it in and don't do anything stupid.
Going into this game the story was Cam vs the Denver defense. The Denver defense won. Going into this game it was "can Peyton not lose the game for them"? He didn't lose the game for them.
So I would say yes he did have a worse game than Peyton considering the expectations. Is that entirely fair? No not really but the Pathers needed Cam to win it for them. Instead he turned the ball over three times basically handing the Broncos 15 points.
"Please. There were 4 minutes left in the game at the point of that fumble. If he saves the posession at what point do they convert?"
4 minuites left in a 6 point game. No they likely don't convert the 4th down. They punt and let the defense get them the ball back.
Carolina's defense in that game was statistically better than Denvers. The 4 drives that the Denver offense scored on (so not including the scoop and score) totaled 24 plays for 110 yards. This wasn't the Carolina defense giving up the game. It was Cam being unable to protect the ball.
You see that 25% drop there at the end of 4th? That was the TD on the 4 yard drive after the Cam Newton fumble.
FYI, I was just as critical of Brady after the AFC championship game. The Pats needed Brady to win them that game because the were outclassed defensively and in the running game. He couldn't pull it off because he couldn't protect the ball and those turnovers lead directly to points for Denver.

Is 4-0 in super bowls better than 4-2?
I never really understood this logic.

In your opinion if #2 happened and he didn't go to the camp isn't the offer basically pulled?
If your professor says "if you don't take the final I will fail you" are you going to be shocked you don't get the failing grade until the end of the term?
I mean there is a pretty simple logic here.
1) Scholarship is contingent on X which is solely in control of the player.
2) Player doesn't do X.
3) Scholarship status?
For #1 do we know he was re-offered? Or did Harbaugh just give a blanket "we plan on honoring these scholarships assuming X is met?
"Nothing I have read from the Michigan side in anyway lessens their culpability."
That might be because the Michigan side isn't allowed to state their case about Swenson's specific situation.

With Stanford there is a little bit more of a map.
Harbaugh takes over a terrible team and has a couple building seasons (improving from 1-11 but 9-15 is nothing to scream about.
He gets Andrew Luck who was a 4* star kid and very good QB coming out but I don't think anyone would have predicted him #1 pick and pro bowler. But even with Luck that 2008 class wasn't anything to scream about.
2009 they go 8-5 and their recruiting class breaks into the top 25 at number 18.
2010 they go 12-1 and their recruiting class comes in at 21.
Shaw takes over and continues the success and the recruiting follows.
Basically their recruiting followed good performance which followed getting a good coach. This is the logic of what should happen.
