Can someone tell BWW no one wants OT on the Miami (NTM) - Ohio Game currently showing and tied at 21? Thanks

Well that was a frustrating "2nd quarter" if you will. Scoreless in the last 7:13 but only down 7.

Very winnable game if shooting picks up and the refs figure out what a foul is

We look flat out terrible. I've never seen a Beilein offense with this much empty dribbling. A LeVert miracle is our best hope. I can't watch another half of Walton and Spike dribbling in circles.

...and Jon.

With those 2, we're winning by 7-10 points. But oh well, "what if" doesn't work...we just have to ride with what we have and be patient enough to know that there are going to be growing pains along the way. Probably more than we want.

This is the team I expected - especially early in the year.

We'll be fine long term, but for everyone going nuts about being #24. No, that's what we are right now. That's not a bad thing...we'll get better, but it's probably not going to happen until the VERY end of the year.

Walton still hasn't showed that there are certain times where he has to just run the offense.

LeVert is an elite #2 option, but I don't think he's a #1 in the way Burke and Stauskas were. In fact Irvin may have that "it" a little more - but he's a year away.

We all would love to have Chatman coming off the bench as a 6th man the way Irvin got a chance to last year. Unforunately because of the NCAA and the departure of McGary (and Horford), that's not an option. But let's not kid ourselves, he's really a 6th/7th man right now with potentially to be that freshman stealing all the PT from the senior (i.e. Horford) late in the year.

We have to be patient with Chatman and Wilson.

Then the three post guys, they're going to take some time to come along too, our best bet is just to say "play your heart out and we'll go with the hot hand/player who is playing best."

Well we weren't going to win them all. I guess it's good experience? This is truly atrocious shooting. Not like a Beilein coached team at all. Poor offensive execution, lazy defense, passing up open shots, missing open shots, and truly bad turnovers. For now we will just assume it will improve, but eventually you can't keep losing every upperclassman on your roster and expect to have a good team full of freshmen. This team just has next to no depth right now and no real option down low. Our best chance is LeVert or Irvin flipping a switch at some point like Stauskas did, but neither of them are there yet.
