Is there any truth to the rumor that Williams is striking up NIL deals with Ulta Beauty and Sephora to be the “face” for men’s fingernail care?

It’s being discussed - in a similar way as Day has been for “Just for Men” and their hair coloring.  I’ve heard that “Just for Men” is looking to extend their product portfolio and nail care is the next market segment being targeted.

If so, is Williams the right spokesman?

I hope Michigan wouldn't run him that much to where he would be the favorite. DE was hurt for half the year so they kinda had to, but a true 50/50 split of non-garbage time snaps would be ideal. Save some tread for late in the season (and also for their respective NFL careers).

Or they open it up more with JJ. That would be cool too. Either way, I really dont want to see Corum get 30 rushes against Maryland

I don't think anyone is down on Stokes or Mullings.  We're wondering what happened to Stokes - he hasn't been heard from since he missed a cut in the second series against OSU.  And we're wondering why Mullings got a hurried handoff on 4th and goal from the one.  Give it to him?  Sure.  Rush everything to shove into his hands?  NO!!!

i'm not very high on Stokes, more non-commital on Mullings.

Usually you can see whether or not a guy has 'it' pretty quickly - for example even Karan Higdon as a freshman was more serviceable than Stokes.  I'd love to be wrong but I'm not seeing it with Stokes.

Edit - I am wrong about Higdon.  He barely got any time as a freshman.  I stand by my point though i'd have to point to other players such as Charbonnet or Edwards who showed flashes as true freshmen.

I said this in another thread that I have this on good authority that Corum is coming back.  I don't know if this Harbaugh fiasco will have any impact on this, but I do know that some donor/NIL money is keeping Corum here.

I agree but would add there's only 1 more year of the 4 team playoff.  After that, I think it'll be reasonable to say that not making the 12 team field would feel like a failure.  Unless the hierarchy of the conferences changes significantly, the 2nd place B1G team should be a near-lock for an at-large bid, and the 3rd place B1G team would stand a reasonable chance of getting in with some help.

Hart believes, as of this morning, he’s back. We’ll see what happens. One of the guys in that running back room on scholarship plans to transfer. If Corum does stay, Michigan could see a second guy transfer. Something to look out for.

Hart is hoping to convince the second guy to stay. Split carries next year 55/30/15 with Corum/Edwards/Stokes. Edwards would get another 30% playing as a second back to Corum in a two back system or getting some time at receiver. So in theory Edwards would get more time than Corum and Corum has a huge NIL package coming.

Side note, there is a chance Matt Weiss is getting hired by an NFL team, even with Harbaugh staying. If that happens look for Moore to become sole offensive coordinator, but Michigan will hire a passing game coordinator who is also the QB coach. This is not a sure thing, but also again something to possibly look out for. Weiss is respected in the NFL and wants to get back there. Staff is still solid on Harbaugh coaching Michigan in 2023. Business as usual and some of that plays into Corum staying.

I suspect the transfer worry is Stokes?  And I can't blame him - he disappeared after the second series against OSU.

As for Weiss going off to the NFL, have at it!  I would love, Love, LOVE a new passing game coordinator to help out Moore.

Your post is music to my ears.  Keep up this good work and I'll award you the dollar that XM owes Mgrow!

Hope he comes back but I won't be the slightest bit upset if he doesn't. He was one of if not the best RBs in the country this year and there really isn't much more he could prove, unless he is hellbent on winning a national title. And with his knee injury this year and RB shelf lives in the NFL being what they are, I wouldn't be upset if he wanted to start making some real money in his immediate future.

Whatever he chooses, I'll be cheering for him.

If Corum was declaring for the draft, I feel like he would have announced it via twitter.  Announcing something on Eisen’s show seems like it sets up for an announcement that will make big waves.  On the other hand, I have no idea what I’m taLking about.
