What’s Your Hottest Take?!
November 27th, 2022 at 3:50 PM ^
JJ overthrew every deep ball all year on purpose to bait OSU into that gameplan.
November 27th, 2022 at 3:59 PM ^
KALEL MULLINGS CANNOT THROW THE DEEP BALL!!!!!!!!
November 27th, 2022 at 4:20 PM ^
we need a converted linebacker running back who is more than just a game manager.
November 27th, 2022 at 4:48 PM ^
I mean Michael Barrett can make that throw in stride.
Also I can’t remember if it was Seth or Brian whose hawt take was Loveland and Graham would be difference makers in The Game.
November 27th, 2022 at 6:43 PM ^
re: barrett - with godzilla chasing him and thanos about to snap his fingers
November 28th, 2022 at 5:08 PM ^
Barrett could throw a DO even after the Thanos Snap. If his receiver was snapped out, he would run it down and catch it himself.
November 27th, 2022 at 4:40 PM ^
Mulling threw short to burn more clock on the drive.
November 27th, 2022 at 5:42 PM ^
His passer rating is higher than yours.
November 27th, 2022 at 4:18 PM ^
That’s not a hot take. I’m convinced it’s the case and will carry over against Purdue and CFP
November 27th, 2022 at 5:39 PM ^
Recruits from Ohio committing. Can they hit the deep ball?
November 27th, 2022 at 6:07 PM ^
Minter will get a HC gig
November 27th, 2022 at 6:33 PM ^
Cincinnati? His dad coached there.
November 27th, 2022 at 7:50 PM ^
I am firmly in agreement with this, for reals.
November 27th, 2022 at 3:50 PM ^
That we’re going to make it 3 in a row next year.
November 27th, 2022 at 4:57 PM ^
Hot takes only my friend
November 27th, 2022 at 3:50 PM ^
Illinois will raise a banner.
November 27th, 2022 at 3:57 PM ^
Illinois will buy Golden Corral.
November 27th, 2022 at 4:36 PM ^
It is in Bert's contract.
November 27th, 2022 at 6:34 PM ^
Brilliant Romeo!
November 27th, 2022 at 4:15 PM ^
... on the sideline, to cover Bert's midriff.
November 27th, 2022 at 4:23 PM ^
The B10 commish needs to look into his use of his gravitational field to draw away opponents foodstuffs thereby weakening them as the game progresses.
November 27th, 2022 at 3:52 PM ^
PENN STATE WOULD WIN THE SEC WEST.
(Or the Michigan-centric version)
MICHIGAN HAS A BETTER RESUME THAN GEORGIA, AND SHOULD BE RANKED #1.
November 27th, 2022 at 6:18 PM ^
That was going to be mine. Only a deep sec bias could make you believe they should stay #1
November 27th, 2022 at 8:16 PM ^
Man, UGA looks good. They win last year, until they lose, number one
November 27th, 2022 at 9:05 PM ^
The counterpoint is this: Georgia Bulldogs' defense breaks NFL draft record with 5 first-rounders.
Travon Walker isn't walking through that door. Jordan Davis isn't walking through that door...
November 27th, 2022 at 6:59 PM ^
Penn st should be ranked ahead of Alabama. In terms of losses, PSU has the edge, common opponent Auburn, PSU was more impressive. And I don’t count FCS wins so Bama is 9-2 in my world. @Purdue, @Ole Miss, Miss st, and Minnesota are all effectively the same as far as resume wins. Bama just has that 1 pt victory over Texas.
November 27th, 2022 at 9:57 PM ^
This is an exceptional hot take. Although it is more logical and well argued than hot takes are generally supposed to be.
November 27th, 2022 at 3:52 PM ^
I want OSU to make the playoffs as a 4, beat Georgia, and then lose to Michigan again in the championship game.
November 27th, 2022 at 4:38 PM ^
I categorically do not. Let them stew on the L for 364 days.
November 27th, 2022 at 4:54 PM ^
Yeah me too. But watching Georgia absolutely demolish them while their fanbase claimed all year that they were built for that game, would be a nice Xmas gift. The gravy would be us then taking down Georgia and winning the CFP. There’s not enough therapist in Ohio to provide the counseling buckeye fans would need.
November 27th, 2022 at 5:53 PM ^
On Earth*. Not enough therapists on Earth.
November 27th, 2022 at 9:33 PM ^
Losing twice in a month to Michigan and then having them stew on a 3 game streak while Michigan beat them for a natty would break most of the cooler poopers.
November 27th, 2022 at 5:57 PM ^
I actually would prefer if, after backing in, they once again fail to score in the playoffs.
November 27th, 2022 at 3:53 PM ^
Corum was able to play but Jim made him sit out to show Ryan Say we didn’t need him to kick their ass
November 27th, 2022 at 4:16 PM ^
Damn.
November 27th, 2022 at 3:53 PM ^
Fuck ohio state
November 27th, 2022 at 4:07 PM ^
This is a thread for HOT takes.
November 27th, 2022 at 4:56 PM ^
When in doubt, just play the hits.
November 27th, 2022 at 3:53 PM ^
Ryan Day is still on third and next wants to be a turtle on a fencepost at USC.
November 27th, 2022 at 4:05 PM ^
I was about to comment that Day is standing on 3rd at the corner of Michigan and Trumbull. I then discovered that there actually is a baseball field there again!
November 27th, 2022 at 4:58 PM ^
November 27th, 2022 at 4:37 PM ^
Actually he ran back to 2nd base after that BEATDOWN!
November 27th, 2022 at 3:54 PM ^
Ryan Day will leave for the NFL before irrational Buckeye fans have the chance drive him out of town.
The “We want Urban” chants must have rankled, and he made a “that’s life at Ohio State” comment in postgame presser
November 27th, 2022 at 4:07 PM ^
Aww...he used a pseudonym for " this shithole". The University of Faber defines Ohio State as shithole. The horror....
November 27th, 2022 at 4:41 PM ^
He needs to go somewhere in the AFC North so he can play against a Harbaugh defense twice a year.
November 27th, 2022 at 9:09 PM ^
Ryan Day is a broken man.
