Beat MSU.
October 29th, 2022 at 3:57 PM ^
Iowa converted first and twenty. Watch out for the apocalypse.
October 29th, 2022 at 7:25 PM ^
Yea verily, we are truly living in the end times!
October 29th, 2022 at 3:58 PM ^
It's an old-fashioned shootout in Iowa City. Hawkeyes up 3-0.
October 29th, 2022 at 4:06 PM ^
Damn, I picked the under at 2-0
October 29th, 2022 at 3:59 PM ^
PSU fans are all like "I'm so sick of random DEs having career days against us."
Maybe it's because your OL has sucked for more than a decade. That RT is a fucking disaster.
October 29th, 2022 at 4:02 PM ^
In nine years on the job, Frames hasn't realized that OL play is important. Fortunately, he's got another nine years left on his contract to figure it out.
October 29th, 2022 at 4:03 PM ^
The “turn your back to the DE and box out like basketball” strategy, while bold, didn’t work all that well!
And Josh Gattis is a fantastic OC down in Miami. What a bum.
October 29th, 2022 at 4:02 PM ^
Virgina and Miami in a good one, triple OT!
October 29th, 2022 at 4:05 PM ^
Switched to Illinois - Nebraska. I want to see this "vaunted" Illini defense.....
October 29th, 2022 at 5:28 PM ^
I don’t doubt that they’re improved and Bielema has them well coached, but to me, they haven’t played anyone that would make me say they’re going to truly slow down, much less stop Michigan.
Only thing that will beat Michigan that day is if they’re caught looking ahead to the following week. Which is not something I think Harbaugh will allow.
October 29th, 2022 at 4:07 PM ^
Woof, this afternoon schedule is awful. Bad or overmatched teams or in who cares conferences. I may have to go hit some balls to kill time until 4:30. I’d rather watch Th MACtion than this drudgery
October 29th, 2022 at 4:10 PM ^
Sadly, Eastern lost in MACtion. 27-24. They'll still make a bowl and probably win 7 or 8 games, but no Eastern Michigan MAC title game appearance.
October 29th, 2022 at 4:20 PM ^
Bert freezing his own kicker and taking points off the board is pretty funny.
October 29th, 2022 at 4:26 PM ^
Awesome job by Bert Beilema, calling timeout just as the ball is snapped and his guy hits 53 yrd field goal. Nice over-coaching. After the TO, Illinois false starts, has to punt. A coaching clinic.
October 29th, 2022 at 4:27 PM ^
TD Huskers! The vaunted Illinois D gives up the big play.
October 29th, 2022 at 4:29 PM ^
That Nebraska TE taking it to the house...dude looked really slow down the sideline, but long strider. Blocked PAT. Huskers 9, Illini 6
October 29th, 2022 at 4:40 PM ^
Georgia’s tight ends are massive humans.
October 29th, 2022 at 4:43 PM ^
202 yards of offense in the first half, Hawkeyes are rocking!
October 29th, 2022 at 4:45 PM ^
Illinois with a big pressure interception
October 29th, 2022 at 4:54 PM ^
I’m not impressed by IL They are having a tough go against NE.
October 29th, 2022 at 5:02 PM ^
They're moving the ball pretty well, however that might just be due to playing Nebraska.
October 29th, 2022 at 5:39 PM ^
I am not really impressed with either side of the ball for Illinois. I mean, they're good, top-25 maybe, sure. But I don't see Michigan having much of an issue with them -- as long as they avoid the dreaded "trap game" mentality due to the scheduling.
October 29th, 2022 at 5:02 PM ^
Hot take Iowa should hire Bert
October 29th, 2022 at 5:07 PM ^
Cold take: Why would Illinois let him go?
October 29th, 2022 at 5:19 PM ^
Iowa is bigger than Illinois in pecking order. Imagine that Iowa would pay the buyout.
October 29th, 2022 at 5:33 PM ^
I get that. Illinois might or might not want to alter the equation.
October 29th, 2022 at 5:42 PM ^
Bielema is an Iowa grad. I don't know how much that matters to him (since he's coached two other B1G West schools) but it might.
October 29th, 2022 at 5:36 PM ^
It will forever amaze me that Iowa has never hired any of the Stoops brothers in any serious capacity, and that the Loins never hired Dick Lebeau in any capacity.
October 29th, 2022 at 5:16 PM ^
Just realized shitty Notre Dame will probably now get ranked into the top 25 so Clemson gets to play another middling, overrated team and improve their strength of schedule.
To hell with Notre Dame
October 29th, 2022 at 5:34 PM ^
So, this Oklahoma State team beat Texas, and this KState team lost to Tulane?
October 29th, 2022 at 5:45 PM ^
The Big XII is not good.
October 29th, 2022 at 6:10 PM ^
It actually is?!
October 29th, 2022 at 5:37 PM ^
This Purdy is no bueno
October 29th, 2022 at 6:02 PM ^
My gawd these afternoon games are putrid.
i wait all year for 15 saturdays of college football, I watch the W, Th and F night games.
but this afternoon I feel like the clock is moving backwards instead of toward game time.
another 1:40 hrs of this?
October 29th, 2022 at 6:06 PM ^
These afternoon games just suck. I hate to say that out loud, though - the wife might try to get me to watch Pitch Perfect, or some other chick flick BS before the real game tonight...
October 29th, 2022 at 6:14 PM ^
Georgia -Florida is a one score game....
October 29th, 2022 at 6:18 PM ^
Holy!!! Last I checked it was 21-0 and game pretty much over. Is it a real one score, or some fake BS with UF getting lucky? Turned it on now...
October 29th, 2022 at 6:20 PM ^
UF a field goal then an int then a long td pass.
October 29th, 2022 at 6:19 PM ^
UF is trying to rise up here. Go Gators...
October 29th, 2022 at 6:21 PM ^
Ouch--UGa rips up a soft UF defense for another score. UGa 35 - UF 20
October 29th, 2022 at 6:32 PM ^
I think Ga. is about ready to put this to bed.
October 29th, 2022 at 6:31 PM ^
UF with the horrible run through the middle on 3rd & 7, then a poor play on 4th. Just giving the game away...
October 29th, 2022 at 6:35 PM ^
OSU down 41-0 to Kansas State, wth?
October 29th, 2022 at 6:39 PM ^
Georgia says good night Gators … it was fun while it lasted
October 29th, 2022 at 6:41 PM ^
It goes to show you how any team can rise up for a few quarters but good teams eventually put them away.
October 29th, 2022 at 6:41 PM ^
This has been the snooziest set of late afternoon games I've seen all year
October 29th, 2022 at 6:47 PM ^
The biggest take away from the Illinois game is how really big Bret is
October 29th, 2022 at 6:50 PM ^
:) I was watching that for a while. Chase Brown is good, but they settle for way too many FGs when the field shrinks. They do have some fast guys on Defense. I wish we would have seen them play against a quality offense before our game.
October 29th, 2022 at 6:48 PM ^
It seems Petra's had two TDs today and no turnovers. What is this world coming to. NW is pretty bad. They let Iowa get more than 150 rushing and over 200 passing.
