Well, shit ....
December 18th, 2020 at 1:40 AM ^
Well played.
December 17th, 2020 at 5:00 PM ^
Thank you. Glad someone knows what they're doing here.
December 17th, 2020 at 5:29 PM ^
I like that Simon says "thank you".
But since you tried twice to no avail, I'll teach you how.
It's simple, Simon:
At the top of the posting window is a row of icons. Place your blinking curser wherever in your post you wish to imbed your link, click on the 'linked chain' icon---that opens up a box, inside of which you then place that blinking curser, then paste that link and hit save on that box.
If you're then ready to post, hit save on the posting window and you are ready to profit.
December 17th, 2020 at 5:36 PM ^
+1 for simple simon!
December 17th, 2020 at 5:52 PM ^
Helping someone & being civil rather than attacking him for not knowing everything you do?
What an interesting concept. D'ya think it will catch on?
December 17th, 2020 at 6:19 PM ^
+1 for blinking curser. Made me think of my drunk uncle, Lord rest his soul.
December 17th, 2020 at 6:41 PM ^
Busted!
Started by giving a lesson and now I'm getting one, too.
December 17th, 2020 at 7:39 PM ^
Thanks for the help. Noted.
December 17th, 2020 at 4:56 PM ^
My WAG is that Harbaugh is staying and they are discussing the budget for replacement coaches (will hire them soon and wait until the contracts expire).

Your Wife And Girlfriend?
December 17th, 2020 at 11:35 PM ^
Yes, one is Wild in bed, the other has a great Ass and neither have Guessed about the other yet.
December 17th, 2020 at 11:45 PM ^
This is Warde's Bill Beekman moment
December 17th, 2020 at 4:56 PM ^
So, I guess that means the season is over?
December 17th, 2020 at 4:59 PM ^
It was over after the MSU loss but I guess technically your assumption is correct.
December 17th, 2020 at 9:28 PM ^
I know I stopped watching after that shit show.
December 18th, 2020 at 11:33 AM ^
What, no one's holding out hope for the bowl game?
December 17th, 2020 at 5:02 PM ^
Man, why the urgency...?
December 17th, 2020 at 5:05 PM ^
Now that signing day is over, I'd wait until January and hope a NFL team picks him up but I guess we are married to him.
December 17th, 2020 at 5:18 PM ^
Yup. I’m thinking something like $5 million a year for three years
December 17th, 2020 at 5:20 PM ^
Based on the timing my guess is they are offering him an extension. More mediocrity ahead for the program and ruining good players.
December 17th, 2020 at 5:29 PM ^
While driving by the Stadium today, I noticed several large trucks carrying Coca Cola parked nearby. Shades of Hoke's last year?
People will only take mediocrity for so long and with the poor results this year, the continuing problems with personnel shortages at key positions and with Covid likely still around to some extent, it may be easy to get a seat at next year's games.
December 17th, 2020 at 8:05 PM ^
Coca Cola is Bush league. Tell us when they have the giant macaroni noodle at the stadium.
December 17th, 2020 at 5:32 PM ^
"ruining good players"
In 2020, we had 10 players drafted, tied with OSU for second most (behind LSU w/ 14) and ahead of Alabama.
December 17th, 2020 at 5:41 PM ^
So why didn’t Michigan win more? By your logic, Michigan should have been equal to OSU and Alabama. If not, then at least not 29 points worse than OSU and superior to both Wisconsin and Penn St.
December 17th, 2020 at 5:45 PM ^
The point is to say the argument that Harbaugh can't develop or identify talent is not supported by the NFL success his players are having.
It's not to say there's not an issue is translating that talent into wins.
December 17th, 2020 at 6:24 PM ^
Not really ruined, but definitely not really making them better players from when they enter the program to when they leave.
Gary and Ruiz were both first round picks and were never more than just good here.
DPJ barely had more receptions in 3 years as Braylon had total in 2004. Nico never eclipsed 40 receptions in a season. How is that possible for a receiver going in the first or second round?
December 17th, 2020 at 7:36 PM ^
Ruiz was crazy good at Michigan. You’re an angry fan and usually I let you say whatever you want. But one thing I’ve learned about you is that you don’t actually understand the game of football in any decent capacity. Ruiz was elite at Michigan. Hence the reason a center was drafted in the 1st round. DPJ never put in the work to get any better, but that’s all of my thoughts on that. Should the coaches force guys to work more at their craft? How much more should they do in the time limits given? DPJ walked on campus expecting to have 1,000 seasons every year just by stepping on the field. He never put in any extra work and he came in very rough at route running.
Nico won’t be drafted in the 1st two rounds. So I guess that covers all of that. Michigan has not done as well as they should have with Harbaugh. I’m not saying he should stick around but I will say that you are always negative and it’s the worst because you don’t actually understand football.
December 17th, 2020 at 9:14 PM ^
Someone who is 2nd team all Big Ten is not "elite"...sorry. That is reserved for All Americans or at least All Big Ten. David Molk was an elite center.
Apparently you've forgotten what elite looks like because it's been so long since we've had any real elite player.
I don't understand football? I've been saying Harbaugh is going to fail here for the last 3 years and been told how wrong I am countless times...except my predictions have actually come true while all you're left with is more hopes and dreams about Harbaugh that will never come true.
December 17th, 2020 at 11:09 PM ^
Again you don’t understand football. I don’t need the All Big Ten list to tell me who is elite and who isn’t. Nor did the Saints. I hate to be mean to other Michigan fans, but you are always negative and you don’t actually understand what you are talking about. I didn’t disagree that Harbaugh has underperformed. So you predicted that 3 years ago. Woohoo. We’ll call you lucky. Because I promise you didn’t guess that based on your vast knowledge. Obviously some of Harbaugh’s issues that came up this season have been ongoing issues, like tempo and clock management. Some of that is easy to see. It doesn’t mean that you understand football. I’m glad you’re so happy that you were right about Harbaugh’s tenure so far.
Seems like you enjoy that you were “right” more than you do Michigan’s success. What do they say about a broken clock? I’m sure you’re a true fan though!! You just expect a championship every year or you’ll bash the players because that’s just what we should expect. Championship or bust and if it’s bust run your mouth about players and a game you don’t understand.
December 17th, 2020 at 11:44 PM ^
You are claiming to know the game better, based on what you saw this season in context of the known issues mentioned which have been seen in previous seasons, would you want Harbaugh to continue to be Michigan’s coach? Either way, why?
December 18th, 2020 at 8:25 AM ^
Where did I bash the players? I'm on the players side...the Saints obviously saw something in Ruiz that we never really saw here. That's on the coaches for not getting the most out of the players. We had an offensive line with 4 players drafted last year and it was never more than just okay to good. Certainly not anything like the road graders Lloyd Carr had. Tell me since I don't know football why that is?
December 17th, 2020 at 7:47 PM ^
Wow, you really are a negative Nancy. Some players got much better at M than what was expected. And some didn’t live up to the RECRUITING HYPE. It’s ridiculous to pit all of that on their coaches. Some? Ok. But you can’t help but get better if you out in the EFFORT. Bitch about play calling and I’m with you. Bitch about “player development” and you sound ignorant.
Just my opinion. I could be wrong.
December 18th, 2020 at 9:42 AM ^
It's cherry picking data points to produce a flimsy argument. For every DPJ who had an underwhelming career based on recruiting projections, you have a Josh Uche or Kwity Paye, who greatly out perform their recruiting rankings and develop into top NFL prospects.
This is what people talk about when they are referencing some fan's propensity to focus only on the negative aspects of the team. You can't sit there and say the staff suck at developing players because one player didn't live up to the hype of their HS career and ignore that a less hyped player turned into an NFL player.
If Harbaugh had an issue with putting guys in the league then the player development argument would be valid. But that really hasn't been the case (see data point above). You really think all the players that are doing well in the NFL, Ruiz, Onwenu, Wino, Uche etc would all have made it to where they are regardless of who coached them? Doubt it.
Take a look at all the 5* players that OSU and Bama have signed and see what percentage of them lived up to their recruiting status or not. I'd be willing to bet a decent amount of them had careers like DPJ and Gary.
December 17th, 2020 at 5:53 PM ^
We weren't 29 points worse than OSU, maybe if shea doesn't fumble a fucking snap, maybe if DPJ doesn't drop a gimme touchdown we go into half down 2 pts or whatever the score was..
The coaches can only practice snapping the fucking football with shea only so much before he is a lost cause
December 17th, 2020 at 6:12 PM ^
The scoreboard says we were 29 points worse than OSU.
December 17th, 2020 at 6:21 PM ^
You see, clearly our coaches are teaching the snap all wrong....
December 17th, 2020 at 6:29 PM ^
....and what about the year prior???
December 17th, 2020 at 7:24 PM ^
Didn't win more because Harbaugh can't game plan.
December 17th, 2020 at 7:31 PM ^
Are you guys this much of disingenuous assholes in real life, or do you just go on the internet to make bad-faith troll arguments for fun?
December 17th, 2020 at 5:45 PM ^
Facts suck.
December 17th, 2020 at 5:43 PM ^
The same 'mediocrity' we had from 00-07 under Carr. And Way, way better 'mediocrity' than we had under Hoke/RR
December 17th, 2020 at 6:45 PM ^
In the 8 years from 2000 to 2008, Michigan finished inside the top ten 3 times and was only outside the top 20 once. Our worse loss to Ohio State was by 16 points and we had four losses by less than a touch down.
In the 6 years that Harbaugh has been coach, Michigan never finished inside the top 10 (we finished 10th once) and we finished outside the top twenty twice. Under Harbaugh, we’ve lost by less than a touchdown once, and we’ve lost by more than 20 points three times with the worst loss being by 29 points, twice.
Not sure those mediocrities are really the same.
December 17th, 2020 at 6:57 PM ^
Yeah but LC didn't have to deal with COVID!
/s
December 17th, 2020 at 6:58 PM ^
Those pesky facts the Harbaugh defenders don't seem to remember to include. They always bring up win % (which is now worse than Carr's) and 10- win seasons (they only started to play 12 games every year in 2006).
December 18th, 2020 at 6:51 AM ^
It’s the pesky numbers Harbaugh haters ignore. As well as Covid, the competitive background, and what we’ve traditionally been.
I find that “unacceptable!” You should “leave for the sake of the team and find a new place to root for” with such “mediocre” fandom.
