It’s crazy how moore shits…

It’s crazy how moore shits the bed every week and is the heir apparent for HC

If we’re just gonna fucking…

If we’re just gonna fucking let it bounce why don’t they line up 10 yard closer and try to catch it?

So many wasted opportunities…

So many wasted opportunities. So much wasted momentum.

We should be up 3 scores…

We should be up 3 scores. How this offense always disappears for quarters at a time continues to mystify me.

2 downs to go 4 yards and…

2 downs to go 4 yards and you don’t run?

as sick as it makes me feel to say this, i am left with no choice but to hope that ohio state banishes notre dame into the shadow realm opening weekend and puts an end to this momentum

if the result of the 23/24 moore/carr qb recruiting saga is that they both go to notre dame, that might be the most michigan football thing i've ever heard

We’re a football school again!

Poor damn Dickinson, he deserves better. I look forward to Purdue’s annual March choke

coach K is a huge reason why…

coach K is a huge reason why academically Duke is Duke

So.... should we talk about…

So.... should we talk about the fact one of our current assistant coaches was trying to lead our head coach to an NFL team?

our basketball coach and AD…

our basketball coach and AD are black. In fact, 3 of our last 4 men's basketball coaches have been black. Do you not think basketball is a major sport? Duke would certainly disagree.

Do you really think hiring Gattis will prove what you think it will, or is this a low effort way for you to rationalize what you want that is incredibly hard to disprove or attack?

it is hard for me to…

it is hard for me to reconcile the fact that gattis was in contention and not chosen to be the head coach of crappy ACC teams UVA and Duke with how many people in this fanbase are 100% convinced he should be the next guy here to the point they don't even want to test the waters with established candidates

lol, flea flickers are nice…

lol, flea flickers are nice but it is an indictment against our offense we so often have to rely on trick plays.

How about an offense that consistently stalls and settles for field goals? How about some nice fake QB reads that are a handoff every single time?

i too am on the whole…

i too am on the whole unimpressed with Gattis. Feels like OSU fell apart and let us run it all over them and the fanbase collectively orgasmed and forgot how our offense has looked since 2019 and the fact that people were booing the playcalling in the stands until halfway through the season.

TBH, with that in mind, part of me wonders if having Gattis would be better as a HC than an OC

I bet Flores would love to…

I bet Flores would love to come to Michigan and tell recruits about our excellent Stephen Ross school of business!

NFL guys spend 4 months…

NFL guys spend 4 months coaching/traveling and the rest with their family and working locally.

CFB guys spend 4 months coaching/traveling and then most of the rest in high schoolers' living rooms across the country who will most likely not sign with them listening to their stories about prom

it's not even just the win…

it's not even just the win or loss

against the crappy teams they still looked bad, just the lesser of two bad teams (note that these were almost all home games, too)

i don' think he should have been fired, but i definitely don't think a winning streak of slap fights with all of the worst teams in the league after their season's have already collapsed somehow entitles you to continue being head coach (after you had already lost 7 straight!)

they changed the rule this…

they changed the rule this year so you need to interview 2 external minority coaches AFAIK

yeah, it was incredibly…

yeah, it was incredibly overrated. I'm sorry that's hard for you to understand.

He literally beat the ravens and then all of the worst teams in the league, except the Jaguars (who he lost to)

lol, the guy who threw a…

lol, the guy who threw a little baby tantrum on the board this morning sure has strong opinions!

the 7 game winning streak is…

the 7 game winning streak is pretty overrated, it was against the worst teams in the NFL and then the Saints starting Ian Book

Lol. Harbaugh came in 2015…

Lol. Harbaugh came in 2015 to a team who hadn't won the B10 since 2003, and the year before went 5-7 overall and 3-5 in conference. Our two biggest rivals that year won the national championship and Cotton Bowl.

Within 1 year he instantly turned us into a top 10-15 type of program, which was maintained his entire tenure except 2017 and the 2020 COVID year where we literally had a coach working from Zoom. He's leaving with our first B10 championship since 2003 (and playoff appearance). With a fairly reffed game in 2016, we'd have two B10 championships and playoff appearances. If Maryland didn't drop the wide open 2 point conversion in 2018, we'd have a third B10 championship.

He immediately turned a shitty program around to be one that is very good but not elite. Be careful what you wish for in bidding him adieu.

if harbaugh leaves, i hope…

if harbaugh leaves, i hope the next coach will at least have a spring game

i'm glad hiring sean payton…

i'm glad hiring sean payton as HC has quickly paid off in recruiting

So were helfrich, helton,…

So were helfrich, helton, and jimmy lake.

Not to mention, they all share that they took over very strong programs following legendary coaches with huge advantages in talent and recruiting

Also, i'm love to hear what you've seen from gattis that makes you think his coordinator resume is anywhere near as impressive as any of those 3

Uhhh, i strongly disagree…

Uhhh, i strongly disagree with this logic and think you're making the opposite of the point you're trying to.

PSU has done well under Franklin and there's a reason penn state gave franklin a huge extension and other teams have flirted with him

Ok, Matt Rhule has shown…

Ok, Matt Rhule has shown interest. I'm high on him, too, and would likely have put him as #2 if not for the fact he ditched his team to go to the NFL.

Gattis has no head coaching experience. You'd prefer the head coach of michigan to be someone who has never been an HC before? One that many people wanted fired until the 2nd half of this season?

Co-sign to all of this (and…

Co-sign to all of this (and I think the Ohio thing is underrated).

I'd also add that even though you'd obviously like to see that 7-8 wins be 10 wins every year, the losses to good teams are typically very competitive. So it's not like he's just smacking around randos and then losing 45-0 to oklahoma every year

ok, let's hear who you'd…

ok, let's hear who you'd rather get?

it's not obsession to say he…

it's not obsession to say he's a very good, young coach who turned around a miserable ISU program
