Harbaugh says that he will not go for NFL again

Didn't want this to get lost as I think it's almost as important as the fact that he's staying. We need continuity and security that we won't be here one year from now. This is exactly what needed to be said

Indy Pete - Go Blue

Nick Baumgartner owes Jim a huge apology for his podcast today which puts so many false words and thoughts into Jim’s mouth.  And he laughed intermittently throughout the podcast. That is not journalism, it is a bitter sparty taking shots. And shortly after the pod is released: Harbaugh comes back. I expect this from national media types, but local guys like nick should be held accountable.

I piss on Nick and his descendants.  Two thoughts:

1) That D-Bag won’t be apologizing anytime soon

2) He also won’t be getting exclusive interviews.

When your job is covering Michigan for a Spartan-centric news outlet, journalism has to hitch-hike home.

Go Blue, and good to have our own back.  I wasn’t looking forward to a coaching search.

I still kind of think if a NFL did end up offering Harbaugh, he would have taken it:

The #Vikings met with Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh for 9 hours today, but the team didn’t make an offer, per source.

So Harbaugh returns to Ann Arbor and Kevin O’Connell — soon — is expected to head to Minnesota.

Yeah I think the most likely explanation is that they got together and after talking it out, they couldn’t agree on terms and/or had conflicting visions on what Vikings football was going to be moving forward. And both sides mutually agreed it wasn’t going to work.

I never believed Harbaugh would take any offer thrown his way. I believed it would take the right situation and direction. I don’t think he’d leave Michigan for a job where he knows he’s going to clash with ownership and get fired in 2-3 years.

I want to think this is how it happened while JH was in hour 9 at Vikings facilities;

WM (text to JH):  We have moved forward with your NIL package and will allow undergrad transfers to come to the program.

JH (to Vikings GM):  Thank you for having me, it was great talking with you. But I need to leave now.

i didn't say 'no way', i always qualified it with words like, 'a non-zero chance' he'd leave and that i'd be surprised if he did.  i will also say i was quite surprised he took it as far as he did, and would've been disappointed at his departure.

its all good now though.

beat ohio.  beat sparty.  onward we march!  go blue!

MINNEAPOLIS, USA (AP)  News sources are saying that unidentified Russian Agents were seen at a hotel near the Vikings complex early this morning.  That hotel was the same hotel that Michigan Football Coach Jim Harbaugh was staying at, visiting Viking team officials.  After the agents allegedly served some coffee to the Michigan Football Coach, Jim Harbaugh, Harbaugh suddenly stated that he needed to leave Minnesota immediately and return to his hometown, Ann Arbor, Michigan.  Sources say he ran from the hotel lobby, hailed a cab to the airport, and was last seen sprinting across the tarmac to a waiting private jet.

After all this I'm not believing a damn thing, staying or leaving, until he signs something.  I shave my head but if I had hair I would be pulling it out.  Wasn't Schefter the one who kept insisting "Oakland is still in play"?
