Because of a coming storm, our decisive game will be played at noon Monday.

i know we play better at 3 am, but let’s do this thing!

not very optomistic after yesterdays DEBACLE BUT isnt it FUN to have a Team still standing this late in June???   Can they find a way to erase yesterday?

LFG!   Give me the noon start!  Less Lousiville fans, and a chance to get back on the field as quickly as possible after yesterday

The key is going to be the number of walks we give up. Up til yesterday the staff had been doing a good job of limiting walks and spreading out hits. Just ran into a buzz saw yesterday but gave them some runs by loading the base runners with free passes from walks to hit by pitches to balks. Hopefully Weiss can be a force today after some extended rest.

Yeah, yesterday was a blowout, no way around it. And that kind of ass-kicking might make some folks nervous.

But I'm reminded of the 1960 World Series, when the heavily-favored Yankees hung three blowout losses on the Pirates (16-3, 10-0, 12-0). But the Pirates still won the Series by taking Game 7.

A blowout win is still just one win. And yesterday's game is over. It's a new day.

Give 'em hell, Blue.

They’re having O’Halloran hit? Interesting. I’m glad to see he’s pitching today he seems to be our most reliable pitcher. Hopefully he’s up for a four or five scoreless innings and then Weiss can be well rested for an extended stint.

If you want a little baseball appetizer, here's a link to the D3 Finals. This game (or a second if Stevens Point forces a game 2 later today) will determine who's in the final final. I'm rooting for Salisbury, the team that took my son's team out in the regionals. They have the best pitcher in D3, Jimmy Adkins, who will likely pitch in a game 2 today if necessary. In the game he played against us, he got something like 12 K's.

This offense might be too much for Ohallaran. They are good enough to not swing at pitches off the plate and his stuff isn't good enough to beat them over the plate
