Early BWW Bowl Predictions
Do you have a score prediction? A stat prediction? Or an obscure play prediction?
Let's hear them. I'll start.
I expect a close game and Matt Wile kicks a field goal to win 31-28. Michigan is outrushed by 100 yards. Norfleet finally takes one back.

Pitch it to Norfleet will be a thing after this game. Count it.

Oh, sh!t.

Its an interactive look at all the bowls. BWW Bowl is about half way down. You can click on it for a preview, or just hover your mouse on the bowl for the "experts" picks.
FWIW, they picked KSU over M 5-1 (number of picks, not the score).
December 9th, 2013 at 4:41 PM ^
Sparty taking a beating on that site. No one picked them to win. Also Zimmerman must be a B1G honk.
December 9th, 2013 at 1:00 PM ^
Gardner eats subs and goes crazy. Defense doesn't play great but good enough to slow down KSU. Michigan 42-38. Derek Green shows us why he was the #1 RB recruit.
December 9th, 2013 at 2:12 PM ^
Derrick.
December 9th, 2013 at 1:00 PM ^
That KSU will either out-pass, out-rush, out-score, out turn-over, and or out penalize us - or not.
Final score: Yup.
December 9th, 2013 at 2:42 PM ^
but not out-borges us ! Nobody can out-borges Michigan
December 9th, 2013 at 2:48 PM ^
Out-Borgesing The Borges would be a fine feat indeed. One, that I presume, would result in the hiring of the out-Borgeser.

Parmesan garlic, honey BBQ, maybe some teryaki, and a few blazin for good measure.
2 score game that always feels closer, we're nervous the whole way, end up winning by 8-10 points.

I have never been to a BWW. Are those good options if I decide to go?

I've been there a couple times and the food wasn't very good. My friend ordered something that looked like hunks of chicken-like meat covered in camel diarrhea. He couldn't even eat most of it, not surprisingly.
December 9th, 2013 at 2:44 PM ^
just trust the bartender for your beverage of choice !
Go Blue!
December 9th, 2013 at 1:37 PM ^
no matter what you order, you're likely to leave with diarrhea.
December 9th, 2013 at 1:43 PM ^
That's why it's called the Olestra Greasy Stool Bowl.

Thanks for the heads up.
I will add BWW to the list of restaurants that require a 5 point harness on my toilet.

If I wanted real good wings in Ann Arbor I'd head to spots. If I wanted to watch the Bears game (which was never on, thanks to Lions games), I'd head to BWW for a couple hours on Sunday.
December 9th, 2013 at 4:18 PM ^
spots wings >>>>>>(infinity) buffalo wild wings. and at spots you leave with your digestive system intact.
December 9th, 2013 at 5:38 PM ^
In terms of wings, is BWW better than Big Wangs?
December 9th, 2013 at 1:38 PM ^
I'm partial to the Asian Zing, myself. The parm garlic is very good too.
December 9th, 2013 at 4:43 PM ^
Lump BWW in with Chili's, Applebee's, etc. etc. And all the other purveyors of re-heated or deep-fried frozen food.
December 9th, 2013 at 1:33 PM ^
a 2pt game is also a 2 score game.
December 9th, 2013 at 4:04 PM ^
December 12th, 2013 at 12:08 PM ^
or it can be, anyway, depending on how you look at it. Team A and Team B each score 2 TDs. Team A misses both PATs, while Team B makes both. Team A loses by that final score. So they missed 2 scoring opportunities. Ergo, 2 score game. Linear thinkers, pshaw... :P
December 12th, 2013 at 4:31 PM ^
I know what you meant the first time, but you're applying the term incorrectly. A "two-score" game implies the MINIMUM number--not possible number--of scores required to eliminate a deficit. A 2-pt deficit can be eliminated with a single TD or single FG, thus it's a one score game.
December 16th, 2013 at 1:36 PM ^
just because that's the commonly understood usage of the term doesn't mean that the technical interpretation is incorrect, implications be damned! I'll argue with you until I'm blue in the... keyboard...

We win 42-17. For the second game in a row people don't know whether to be happy or think "where the fuck has this been?"
December 9th, 2013 at 1:59 PM ^
December 9th, 2013 at 5:09 PM ^
Could have worded it better. I meant happy that we played great and made it a hell of a game instead of getting blasted in the face point blank with a cannon and losing by 50.
December 9th, 2013 at 1:21 PM ^
I was just about to say there is no reason Michigan cannot win this game, but then I recall the season we watched, so I expect another close game.
December 9th, 2013 at 2:25 PM ^
I took a peek at the KState Boards and they're mostly echoing what you said.
December 9th, 2013 at 2:28 PM ^
I'm a dumbass...nevermind. Go back to ignoring the silly Wings fan.
December 9th, 2013 at 1:26 PM ^
Hoke and Borges are gonna do some work on some wings. As for game, I don't like our chances. We have not proven to be a a competent road team. We have traditionally been even worse on the west coast. K-State has some pretty good special team which has been a weakness of ours for a while (sans fg's). Though he is old, Bill Snyder is a heck of a coach. I expect us to be outcoached/schemed once again.
December 9th, 2013 at 1:37 PM ^
Especially with 3 weeks to prepare, Snyder v Hoke greatly favors KSU.
That being said, it seems our playmakers (Gardner and Gallon) are more dynamic, which I feel will be a close win for M. (actually, it's just my inherent bias talking)
December 9th, 2013 at 2:51 PM ^
December 9th, 2013 at 3:51 PM ^
Agreed. Sparty had ZERO idea what was going on when we rolled up 168 yards and 6 points on them in their own backyard.
December 9th, 2013 at 8:19 PM ^
I'm pretty sure we shocked them by gaining 216 of our 168 total yards through the air.

December 9th, 2013 at 5:48 PM ^
I don't know... the two bowls are a wash, and I'd say last year's game we had a big advantage in that South Carolina had no idea what offense to expect with Denard's injury status being closely guarded. We haven't looked great after bye weeks, as others have noted.
December 9th, 2013 at 6:52 PM ^
...was painful to watch. That game made me realize how much we were going to miss Molk. That offensive performance after he left the game was enough to make me want to revote him as offensive MVP that year.
December 9th, 2013 at 2:14 PM ^
Our special teams have been just fine this year. Not sure what you're talking about.
