| 14 weeks 6 days ago | 2014 and 2015 QBs and WRs |
With a softer schedule and other factors, I think Devin and Gallon will have big and possibly huge years. The potential of a Michigan pro style offense is still kinda conjecture at this point as QB and WR recruits still associate us with the Denard era. Once folks actually see the potential(season starts), I think the skill position recruiting will only improve for 2014 and 2015. I know the Speight commitment has mixed reviews thus far, but if the coaches did want another 2014 Qb, it may be a much easier sell once the season starts and a kid can see themselves as Devin or Gallon, etc.. |

19? Wow, he is the Danny Almonte of HS football or perhaps went on a LDS mission.-haha I remember we had Spencer Brinton who was 26 or 27 if I'm not mistaken |

isn't 'not a ton of zip on the ball but accurate and moves around well' what was said about Bellomy? The kid is 16/17 years old so who knows what may become of this, however, arm strength does indeed matter and can be too easily dismissed at times. It's easier to teach decision making and reading defenses(what Morris apparently needs) than acquiring needed Division 1 arm strength for a pro style offense. (what Bellomy apparently needs along with some other things perhaps) Again, it may not be an issue and Speight may have a cannon. If it is an issue though, it's not trivial. We trust you Al! | 16 weeks 4 days ago | Kobe Bryant and Ronde and Tiki Barber |
He was down to Duke and Michigan if my memory serves correctly. Perhaps had he played for one year, the BBall program would have maintained some buzz and stayed relevant. Football wise, I'll go waaayyy back and say Tiki and Ronde Barber. Both were very high on UofM but too much home state pressure sent them to UVA. Woodson and Ronde at CB with Tiki at TB would've made the NatChamp team even better for perhaps longer. |
| 16 weeks 6 days ago | 86 Fiesta Bowl is when I was born Blue |
I grew up in Scottsdale and my eventual attendance at UofM(95'-99') stems from New Year's Day 1986. My Dad picked up some extra tickets to the Fiesta Bowl from a coworker. I saw the helmets coming out of the tunnel and was an instant fan. I will take Harbaugh and 3-4 years of trash talking and a BCS game over 10 years of stability with Hoke any day of the week. (I do like Hoke and feel good about the state of the program) The intensity of Harbaugh vs. Meyer would be Woody vs Bo caliber. Jim would've been a short-timer, but Schembechler Hall would have some additional hardware to display. |
| 18 weeks 2 days ago | Hoke vs. Meyer |
Tossing out my allegiances and given comparably talented rosters; I will be absolutely shocked if Hoke has a .500 winning pct against Meyer, albeit the games will be very close on an annual basis. I do like Hoke, however, there is nothing in Meyer's past, present, or future to indicate to me that he does not have the advantage. If we lose at home to OSU next year and go into Columbus 0-2 vs. Meyer in 2014, the series could get ugly yet again, However, given his history of burnout, I don't believe Meyer will be at OSU more than 5-6 years. |

1) Good hire as Anderson has rebuilt the state of Utah's 'third school' with little to work with. He now has Wisconsin's facilities and the momentum of 3 consecutive Rose Bowls so the potential is unlimited! OR 2) This ensures Urban and the Poisonous Nuts will win the Leaders Division every year.

| 25 weeks 2 days ago | Rawls>Ingram |
Oh come on, we don't need him! Remember, Fred Jackson says Rawls 'runs angry'and is better than Mark Ingram. Our RB situation is A-OK!! Is Vincent Smith returning for his 7th season? |
| 25 weeks 2 days ago | ~6 schools in 15 years for Borges |
With the exception of SDSU, Borges has been run out town with lit torches at almost every school. (Which is a lot of places with short tenures) OCs' have short shelf-lives in general, but Borges's turnover and the circumstances behind it are alarming. I can't imagine giving the ball to Rawls or Smith being a better option than having it in Devin's or Denard's hand on a bootleg or wide run respectively. Also, the excessive and not very credible play action, and rolling Devin to his weak side drove me nuts. Without "the burden" of a bowl game, Urban can capitalize on the momentum and hit the recruiting trail.People like being associated with 'the winner'. With 2 national championships and a 19-2 record in rivalry games, he can simply ask recruits who they think the dominant side will be in this rivalry given the current coaching staffs. The answer is not one I want to hear. |
