Moe's will be a small contract so he's got a decent chance of being one of the chips the Lakers keep to make the cap/roster work.

I don't think the Lakers have enough to get Kawhi but the Spurs could be a potential destination which would be pretty cool from a coaching perspective. Think he'd fit in well with Walton, too.

Congrats to Mo!

not a huge Lakers fan, but definitely will be rooting for him in the Association.

validates his decision to leave as well... not like he ever needed it

He's probably not going to be a star in the NBA, and might struggle to be a starter on a good team, but Mo's a great pick at 28 for a team that could use a big man who can shoot a little.  Kuzma has a good outside shot at the 4, and Wagner would give them the same ability as a shooter off the bench.

Up until tonight, I've never liked the Lakers, even hated them whenever the Pistons were relevant.

That just suddenly changed.  Go MoLakers!

Would’ve loved to see him join Caris in Brooklyn, but happy to see Wagner go in the 1st. The young man earned it and his love for JB and the staff is very evident

I'm actually hoping we can get PG13 this year, to pair with Randle/Zo/Kingram/Kuzma and the Kawhi next year (when I think he becomes an unrestricted free agent)  Yes, Lebron is heads and shoulders the best player in the league and if he wants to come you have to figure out how it works but I want a contending nucleus intact when he retires in 5-6 years.
