Tom Brady eats Subway?

Submitted by dickdastardly on August 10th, 2021 at 5:10 PM

I went back a week + of published threads on here and either my eyes missed it or this new Subway commercial featuring Tom hawking Subway Subs wasn't posted. I also did a search and nada. So,if it was posted, then my apologies. Hopefully Subway's check didn't bounce.

My two favorites from Subway were the roast beef and tuna. They stopped selling the roast beef and then I found out the tuna wasn't real. Now I go to Dibellas.

Thanks for posting. Fun commercials, with the Brady Bonus.

He and his wife already seem to have a fair amount of money. So he's doing this commercial to . . . save up for his own space ship?

You millenials and zoomers might not understand this, but back in the early 90's, the Subway in the Union was the healthiest, cheapest place to spend your parents' hard-earned electronic Mcash on off your Mcard. I'm sure some of Tom's hard-earned bagman money was spent there as well back then. There used to be lines - Chipotle lines! - for those 6 inch combos. And the cookies...

True that. Then again, when they had 25 cent hamburgers at McDs or dollar whopppers at BK on South U, all bets were off.

Also, I assume students are still relatively indiscriminate when it comes to food. At least, I and my friends were in college. Unless kids these days are all fancy and bougie foodie types.

If I don’t eat Subway, then I know Brady doesn’t, either. Considering that strict TB12 diet of his that essentially consists of nothing but avocados and wheatgrass juice, I’m sure he’s only in this commercial because Subway is paying him a crap-ton of money to do so.

I did used to live off their Buffalo chicken sandwich back in the day. Had one pretty much every day during the week from the Subway in the Union. Would get lunch in between morning classes and afternoons buried studying in the stacks, and then park myself at one of the Mac computers in the back room for about 30-45 mins for MGoBlog/ESPN breaks.
