Kelly's Heroes.

05/05/2018 - 6:35pm Fameaway.

This baby loves the slob, loves it, eats it up. Eats the slob. Born in the slob. His father was a mudda'. His mother was a mudda'.

Don Brown needs some barbed wire on that bat.

04/07/2018 - 10:02pm Probably been mentioned. But

Probably been mentioned. But I love how the players listen to Don Brown when he's talking/yelling. All eyes are on him. I'm so glad he's our DC.

I didn't have a choice. It was the colors of the AAU club I was at. I eventually left and started my own club. We had some nice maize uniforms we wore for special games.

I'm so glad this kid got an offer. He's a huge Michigan fan. I coached him a couple years in AAU basketball. Great athlete with a big heart. He almost didn't play for my team because my colors were red & gray. That's how much he hated OSU. It's cool he gets to live his dream of playing at Michigan.

01/18/2018 - 1:53pm Marcel Lewis is a good kid.

Marcel Lewis is a good kid. He's a playmaker. Blocked some extra points and caused some fumbles in late game situations. Goes to same HS as my son. Should improve even more next year.

01/11/2018 - 8:13pm I thought umbig11 said there

I thought umbig11 said there was a team violation but he couldn't confirm that Walker was dismissed from the team.

01/04/2018 - 11:53am I like the run he had at the 5:40 mark.

Those were some nice moves.

12/09/2017 - 12:28pm He's at the basketball game.

Someone posted a pic on twitter.

12/08/2017 - 11:20am Tocco had no problem poaching kids from other schools.

Jermaine Jackson Jr. transferred from Mt Clemens. Jack Ballantyne came from DLS. Sounds hypocritical to me.

12/04/2017 - 12:44pm I thought Little and Gary were friends.

That might be a connection to bring him here. Fingers crossed.

11/27/2017 - 1:02pm Too bad Brown can't coach both O and D.

Seems like he would be able to find a weakness in a defense and pick it apart.

11/25/2017 - 10:41am Screw it.

I hope the coaching staff comes out aggresive today. Let O'Korn air it out and see what happens.

10/30/2016 - 12:03pm Who was covering Corley on that last TD?

It looked like Jordan Glasgow was on him. Glasgow is #29.

Good article from Rivals.

https://stanford.n.rivals.com/news/hamilton-switches-to-stanford

"I sat down with my parents after we came back from Stanford this past weekend," Hamilton said. "We sat down and we just decided that this would be the best decision moving forward for me. In terms of the academics, things like that, you can't beat Stanford. We just decided it would be the best decision for me moving forward." And while he will be continuing his career in the Pac-12 rather than the Big 10, Hamilton emphasized that his choice was in no way an indictment of Michigan. He kept Michigan apprised of developments in his recruitment with Stanford throughout the process, and he continues to view the Wolverine program and the people that comprise it in a positive light. "There's no negativity or disrespect toward anybody at Michigan," Hamilton said. "Nobody on the coaching staff, nobody at the university. They're all great people. I enjoyed my time there tremendously. There's no disrespect to them. It's just that I feel, and me and my family feel, that this is the best decision for me to go to Stanford."

01/25/2016 - 2:54pm I didn't see that. Must of

I didn't see that. Must of have been on some paywalled site. Last thing I saw on Richardson was his decommitment come out of no where. The coaches actually liked him.

01/25/2016 - 2:14pm I see Antwaine Richardson has

I see Antwaine Richardson has starting following some Maryland recruits. Maybe Durkin had something to do with his decommintment. Trying to get him to flip.

I guess you didn't know Bo as well as you thought you did. You were so sure too.

When we spoke to our in-house expert, former Michigan All-Big Ten offensive lineman Doug Skene, he told us a story of a player that was supposed to join the 1988 freshman class but that dogged it his senior year of high school. What did Bo Schembechler do? He didn’t sign the young man.

01/21/2016 - 11:16pm Sounds like that is fake.
01/21/2016 - 11:11pm Not sure if this was posted.

Not sure if this was posted. This is a podcast with Steve Wiltfong talking about the latest decommits and Swenson. Good stuff.

01/20/2016 - 8:25pm He's got two twitter accounts.

The tweet he removed was his actual announcement to UM. Somebody else noticed it on the 247 board. I just relayed the info here.

01/19/2016 - 1:21pm The players don't wear pads

The players don't wear pads in the Rival camps, only t-shirts and shorts.

How do you evaluate a football player if you don't watch them practice or play games in pads.

01/19/2016 - 1:01pm Rivals sucks.

Here's a breakdown on how the different recruiting sites get their ratings. Rivals mainly uses info they get from their camps. It seems like they have an agenda to get more kids to attend their camps.

http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2015/02/how_are_recruiting_rankings_de.html

At Scout.com, the film is far and away the biggest priority. Huffman then uses events like The Opening and the Under Armour All-America Game as a secondary resource when considering where a player needs to be ranked. He stressed that you can't let a good or bad week at an all-star camp overshadow what a player did for two or three years in high school.

247Sports has a similar mentality. JC Shurburtt, a national recruiting analyst for the network, estimates that game film equates to 60 percent of a prospect's total grade. He uses those camps as a way to confirm what he's already seen on film and gives him a chance to see if a player's measurables actually match up to what he claims.

ESPN reviews the game film and then breaks it down to a "hit tape," which according to national recruiting director Tom Luginbill, culls from three to four games and is "comprised of really good plays, really poor plays and mediocre plays." Luginbill then use that information to put together the most comprehensive evaluation for each recruit out of the major services.

Rivals.com puts the most emphasis on camps and combines out of the four major recruiting services. It's not hard to see why given the company has made a major investment in developing its Rivals camp series and Rivals Five-Star Challenge. Detractors of the camp and combine circuit derisively refer to them as underwear camps, but Rivals' national recruiting director Mike Farrell believes those camps, along with the all-star games, are "the best you can get" for senior evaluations.

01/17/2016 - 11:23pm More details from McDoom.

McDoom confirmed with Ryan Bartow of 247Sports his decision and the reasoning.

"Basically I told Oregon I was going to visit Michigan and they took away my scholarship," McDoom said. "I was fine with it because I wanted to weigh my options."

01/14/2016 - 11:07pm They know he filmed it

They know he filmed it because they could tell from the watch he was wearing.

In the conversation, Tuley-Tillman said he was intoxicated — drinking a large bottle of cognac by himself — and didn’t remember filming anything. When detectives pointed out the watch of the person who did the filming was visible in the video, Tuley-Tillman confirmed that he was wearing that watch that night and admitted to having sex with the woman.

01/14/2016 - 10:47pm Tillman probably got kicked

Tillman probably got kicked off the team for drugs and alcohol. He admitted he had a "significant drinking problem" and was "high" at the time. Hopefully having the year off he was able to get his life in order.

01/14/2016 - 8:59pm Sounds like Texas is an option too.
01/12/2016 - 11:32am Good luck to him.

Terry sat our table during the team luncheon at the Citrus Bowl. He was very polite and answered all our questions. Coach Harbaugh was speaking at the luncheon and said that the team had fun practicing for the bowl game. I asked Terry if that was true and he laughed and said "it was fun for him(Harbaugh)". Great young man. I wish him well.

01/12/2016 - 10:48am Good luck to him.
