Recommendations for merchandise?
I have been putting off buying anything until after the game last night. Even while at the Rose Bowl I didn't want to make any short term decisions on picking something that.
After the "vs Everybody" thing started I've been thinking about getting at least one "season specific" item, which I would usually avoid.
General question: what are all the places to look to buy some stuff (shirts, sweatshirts, maybe a banner, anything/everything)
Second level question: last year there was an MDEN sale and we bought a bunch of things. Is that a yearly thing (what time?) that's worth considering waiting for to buy more general stuff?

Other good places to look are the MDen and Homefield.
MDen typically has a sale over the summer of "previous season's items" - things like the sideline coaches' polos update slightly every year, so the 2023 polos (team shirts, etc) will go on sale prior to the 2024 season.

So far I've bought a commemorative football with a mahogany case, 4 newspapers, and a sports illustrated commemorative issue. No clothing yet. I've bought too much clothing in the past right after winning something that I never wear.

I grabbed a Jordan 1/4 zip a nice tee shirt IMO and some stuff from Pediment Publishing along with a official 2024 playoff game ball at Big Game USA.

IMO Homefield makes great stuff and usually with a bit more design flare than other places. Worth checking out to see if you like them. I'm a bit underwhelmed by their national champion designs for us but the shirts/sweatshirts they use are a notch nicer/softer than your average blanks.

I bought a coin, seemed like the most durable keepsake. At some point I'll probably buy a framed photo of the celebration with the confetti in the air.
Also got a hoodie and a felt pennant.

The national champions merch is honestly pretty generic, but I got a sweatshirt because I had to. Wish they would restock some of the Rose Bowl stuff which was better

If people can suggest a good place to buy a jersey, I would really appreciate that. I am looking for NCG JJ, similar to official. It will be my first. I've always wanted one and now is definitely the time.

I put $60 on the Rose Bowl, doubled my $ (roughly). Pushed it all in on the NCG, doubled it (roughly). Now spending it on champ merch. Something special about wearing merch paid for by the defeated fanbase.

I bought the hat, really want a sweatshirt/shirt but I’d like one without a paragraph worth of text on it. Homefield does have a sweet and rather tame sweatshirt I like.
i keep hoping for a more classic/simple block M hat with the rose for the rose bowl, but again, too many words on the official versions

I remember seeing a post after the Rose Bowl of a light blue hat with a rose on it but now for the life of me I can't find which thread it was in. I think it said "America's Bowl" or something similar. Anyone recall seeing that and can point me in the right direction? Need to track one down.
