and not a single opinion from an actual medical expert. NFL scouts. coaches and executives have a hard enough time being competent at their own job.

04/16/2018 - 10:57pm If we are counting only

If we are counting only coaches then yes Beilein is the best in program history. If you are including players Cazzie Russell and Glen Rice have strong arguments as well.

01/10/2018 - 10:13am I actually know Walter

I actually know Walter Cherepinsky who runs the site personally, he does not have any insder information when it comes to this situation. He does have contacts in the NFL particularly with the Tampa Bay Bucs, but when it comes to the NCAA he is passing along what he hears from NFL Scouts.

I played hockey my entire life. When non white basketball or football players behave in a manner anywhere close to what hockey players routinely do they are "thugs" and criminals. Todd Bertuzzi breaks someone's neck and stays in the NHL for another decade.

While the technology is cool, the methodology used in this article is flawed.

01/03/2018 - 1:28pm Ty Law should go in the same

Ty Law should go in the same year as Peyton Manning just to rub it in one more time how Michigan corners seem to own Peyton.

12/13/2017 - 11:11pm Yes but the selection

Yes but the selection committee still uses it, so wouldn't it be smart to base your scheduling around improving RPI?

The attitude of a true champion, I love it. Competition in practice will lead to victories on the field.

12/04/2017 - 11:58am The S-E-C chant is three

The S-E-C chant is three syllables. I understand the trash talking toward another conference, but we should at least be factually correct.

Uhh...which SEC team are you referring to?

Crimson Tide - 3 syllables

Commodores - 3 syllables
Razorbacks - 3 syllables

Every other school has 2 syllables nicknames.

Michigan's most recent conference title - 2004

Boston College's most recent conference title - 2004.

11/21/2017 - 7:48pm Why? The kid performed well

Why? The kid performed well considering the circumstances, has a lot of talent and would still have two years of eligibility left after sitting out a year. Considering we know first hand just how easily a season can be derailed by QB injuries taking another lottery ticket is not a bad idea.

11/13/2017 - 3:57pm This is one of the cooler

This is one of the cooler traditions that has come about in recent memory in my opinion. It's just a bunch of college kids having fun.

11/04/2017 - 8:03pm Seamlessly? They went 3-9

Seamlessly? They went 3-9 last year.

11/04/2017 - 8:01pm No, but when the biggest

No, but when the biggest weakness of your defense is the deep passing game bad weather plays into your hand. I don't see how that concept is hard to grasp.  The quarters defense has been consistently exploited by slot receivers running deep up the seam. The opposing team just needs to be able to execute that which is much more difficult in bad weather.

11/04/2017 - 7:49pm Yeah we are a good

Yeah we are a good quarterback away from shredding that defense. In 2015 we were two overthrows away from a 3 score win. This year an offense that does anything at all probably wins that game. Those are our short comings not the schematic dominance of Michigan State. When the weather is good against teams that can spread to throw they get worked big time.

11/04/2017 - 7:41pm It's not, it's just that Big

It's not, it's just that Big 10 teams aren't particularly well built to exploit the weaknesses of it and bad weather can make it even harder to beat. If he tried running that defense in the Big 12 or Pac 12 he'd be giving up 40 points per game.

09/22/2017 - 11:47pm Alright so four years of

Alright so four years of Quinn Nordin we bring in Jace Feeley. Who kicks better than us? Nooooobody!

09/10/2017 - 11:51am This was way worse than

This was way worse than anything against us yesterday. It just seems like officials are so afraid to call Buckeye games fairly. They always get the beneficial calls no one else gets. That was clearly an INT, and it was called wrong on the field and then for the replay booth to not signal for a review was even worse.

07/18/2017 - 6:56pm Top 5 in the Diamondbacks

Top 5 in the Diamondbacks system not overall.

07/07/2017 - 1:04pm So we will be just good

So we will be just good enough to not finish in the lottery, yet still get swept by Boston or Cleveland?

Can't wait for this thrilling season of the NBA.

06/15/2017 - 3:40pm That's not at all how the tax

That's not at all how the tax brackets work. When you move to a higher tax bracket only the money made over that number is taxed at the higher rate. In your theoretical situation the person in the higher tax bracket would only be charged 33% on the $1 they made in that bracket while the income they made up to that amount would be in the lower rates.

I love it.

Just wish it was around when I was in high school.

06/13/2017 - 5:05pm I love how in this

I love how in this hypothetical universe he gets 12 tackles in his debut game against Michigan, but for the entire 4 year career he only has 117. Assuming he plays in 12 games per year that would equal about 2.2 tackles per game after that. The intern printing these things needs to brush up on his math skills.

06/13/2017 - 10:48am It's the free market. I see

It's the free market. I see no problem with what the NBA is doing.

I really hope he goes in the first, buy "guarantees" from teams tend to evaporate.

04/30/2017 - 12:36pm I'm fine with having a

I'm fine with having a healthy QB competition. The only thing I am afraid if is a Brady/Henson-esque scenario where neither QB can get into rhythm.

04/07/2017 - 1:34pm You are joking right? Warren

You are joking right? Warren himself said he was given a projection of 2nd or 3rd round. McShay had him as a 2nd round pick, Kiper graded him 3rd or 4th and basically every scouting service had him that same range.

Of course we don't have the exact committee grade, but all signs point towards a grade of somewhere between 2nd and 4th round. He ended up going completely undrafted.

04/07/2017 - 1:32pm Even if that is the case do

Even if that is the case do you think he would have split for the NFL if he was given an UDFA grade?

04/07/2017 - 12:54pm Ask Donovan Warren how

Ask Donovan Warren how unreliable they can be. He was widely considered a 2nd or 3rd round pick and ended up an undrafted free agent. Anyone else think that might have helped the 2010 defense having him back?

03/13/2017 - 8:24pm Completely agree. They were

Completely agree. They were essentially an 8 or 9 win team parading as an 11 or 12 win team because of a down Big 10 in general, but specifically their two guaranteed annual games during that stretch Michigan and Penn State were down basically that entire period.

He gets to learn from Brown, Mattison, Zordich and Harbaugh instead of coaching at a school where he will never get the talent to produce a good defense. If he excels as an analyst he could potentially land a position coach job here when someone retires or gets a coordinator positon elsewhere.

02/04/2017 - 11:34am As a defensive line coach he

As a defensive line coach he would be a fantastic hire. We all know he can recruit really well and his record in developing defensive linemen is unquestionable.

01/26/2017 - 7:22pm With Evans set to be the

With Evans set to be the primary back and looking to utilize Crawford and McDoom I could see us going to a lot more spread formations, even Bunting fits as a great spread TE. The ability to swing back and forth from a spread to the Kaiju package could give defenses fits.

He is literally going out of his way to toss kids half his size to the ground. At that age he needs to be playing with kids his own size.

09/13/2016 - 12:45am He is six inches taller and

He is six inches taller and probably 50 lbs heavier than any other kid out there. It would be like having Leonard Fournette play against eighth graders.

To me that's not a kid being a beast, it's a kid who is either lying about his age or has hit his growth spurt much earlier than other kids and should be playing against older competition.

08/03/2016 - 10:08pm It's baseball, with the

It's baseball, with the length of the season all you need to do is be within striking distance come September. The Tigers are on a hot streak right now that is prevening Cleveland from pulling away with the division and putting them firmly into the wild card race. Short of just pulling away and winning 100+ games, that's all you can expect during the regular season.
