Submitted by UofMfanINcolumbus on October 13th, 2018 at 12:53 AM

First post of the board, sorry if I do something incorrect. Is there a chance Tarik Black plays tomorrow? A lot of rumors floating around that he might plus he just twitted this. Mods delete if this isn’t relevant.

Praying hands emoji, but the replies is probably the reason he deleted it. Everybody jumped the gun and said he was coming back. Maybe it was a secret, we all know how JH loves to give injury updates (kidding).

Black is back. Avoid the sack

Been gone too long, I'm glad hes back

Yes he's loose. From the boot

That kept him limpin' around.

Whether he plays tonight or not at least he's almost there. I felt terrible for the young man going down the week before the ND game. I was expecting HUGE things from him this year. The one positive is that other have stepped up their game and found their legs but I'm ready to have our top WR back.

Peoples-Jones, Collins and Black are going to be tough for years to come

Black, Solomon, and Dwumfour healthy makes us the B1G favorite IMO.

Passing game would blow up with Black on the outside with DPJ, Collins and the the tight ends controlling the intermediate routes, and Perry, Bell and dare I say a healthy Evans running screens and short pick/slants this offense becomes very complete.  Shea has shown the ability to escape pressure...exactly what this offense needs given its main weakness (which has greatly improved), pass blocking.  Throw in the consistent Higdon / Mason power game and gap/trap runs and suddenly this unit is very multiple and difficult to stop.

The defense is and has been, very, very good - and with some major injuries up front.  Solomon, Gary, and Dwumfour back at full strength will make us absolutely brutal to consistently move the ball on.

This team, when healthy, is loaded and better than the 2016 team IMO, because of Patterson.  If we don't get screwed in the Shoe, or stumble in Sparty's Super Bowl, I really see us being the front runner for the B1G.

Our defense is better, more talented all around, and their best edge rusher might be out for the rest of the year. Our secondary is much better, and our LB’s /viper are superior.

They have a better running tandem and O-line. We have more receiver options when all healthy and you add in tight ends. Haskins vs. Shea is interesting.  I’d take Haskins all day with a clean pocket, but get them off their spot, which good defenses can do, and I’d take Shea, who seems very much like a poor man’s (Baker Mayfield)- this is not a criticism but a compliment, mayfield is really, really good.

so our defense is better, our offense keeps ascending.  They may have more individual talent and recruited ״stars” at given positions, but just like in 2016, I think we are a better team.

Hopefully they don’t win the penalty battle 200 yards to 5, and we don’t see a robbery like in 2016 again.

A few snaps would be ok. Probably no need to push it. I'm hoping his feet injuries were freak things and not a chronic thing.

I'd really like to see Kemp and a little bit from Solomon.

Yep - it's going to take the better part of the rest of the year for all of us to feel confident, whenever he gets back.  But his route running and catching instincts add another weapon to an already difficult to guard, if not thin, WR outfit.  The group of pass catchers this team has is the best I can honestly remember in my entire history of following Michigan football - nearly 45 years, going back to a few splashes of Denny Franklin.

If Shea and Harbaugh are ready to unleash it on the world...
