Sleeves vs no sleeves

Anybody notice the majority of Michigan starters not wearing any sleeves in the cold weather vs OSU who was all sleeved up???

I don't know about sleeves, but I bet Haskins is glad he wore a cup!

Anyone know who the Buckeye was that had Haskins' balls scraped across the back of his helmet? He will never live that down!

Well, as they keep reminding us, they're south of us.

And, geniuses that they are, they know that the South is warmer than the North, and they can't handle the cold North.

Gattis said it himself: “they are a finesse team, they are not a tough team.”

Woo boy, that was the talk of a man who is supremely confident about future matchups with Ohio State, or a guy who knows he can sell high on his way to his head coaching job.

1997 - Team prepared to play Wisconsin in freezing weather.  They practiced without sleeves all week to get tough and stay focused.  It kind of worked.

I suspect that the Wolverines (offense) had a team discussion about toughness and concentration and decided to practice without sleeves all week.  Defense appears to all be in sleeves.

If you're cold and it's above 10 degrees you're either old and your skin is literally thin or you're not old and your skin is figuratively thin.

Perhaps the biggest tragedy of global warming is that it has made Big 10 football a warm weather sport. There's nothing better than football in the snow.

I find the heat of September games miserable. We should start the season in late October.

All bowl games should be played in northern non-dome stadiums. As should every Super Bowl. I'm pretty sure our historic failures in the bowls can be directly attributed to shitty Southern Californian and Floridian weather, which have an unnatural amount of heat for 300lb dudes to kick ass for three straight hours. All southern games should be in domes with the AC cranked to make it a perfect 20 degrees. If you can't see your breath it's too fucking warm.

If the temperature averages over 70 degrees for more than three months out of the year it's too fucking hot.

Not a worthwhile thread, but I’ll bite!  At the game on Saturday, I did think it was a stark contrast how the different sidelines were during TV timeouts. Most of OSU’s players were sitting on the bench in their massive red coats to stay warm, and the vast majority of Michigan’s players were jumping around, dancing, and pumping each other up.  Didn’t notice anyone other than coaching staff wearing coats.

Not sure it’s a thread-worthy observation, but I did think it exemplified that one team came hyped with a ton of energy, and the other team wasn’t able to match that.

Dear lord, stop with this shit.

Who gives a damn and if you really care, jump on YouTube and see for yourself.

Sorry, that's mean...just tired of these random as shit threads. We need another OSU Snowflakes thread for the week.

First thing I noticed as a former offensive lineman. Told me everything I needed to know about OSU on that day. Keep them boys down south, this is midwestern football
