"She openly admitted that they haven't made their decision "

No - She openly SAID that they haven't made their decision.

I'm inclined to believe her, but human being lie. A lot.

Yaks wife seems like a great girl. She's tweeted out before about her and him having a ton of game film to go over. I guess Yak is basically addicted to watching game film. Pretty cool for him to have a wife who enjoys watching game film with him and is supportive like that

Everyone here does seem to be assuming that his Texas interview was evidence of trying to get out, when it could have just been covering his bases in the event the new HC did not want to retain him.

Shoot, I have a fairly stable job, and I apply to and interview for jobs every 4 months or so. Not because I necessarily want to leave my current job, but it lets me know the market and keeps my interviewing skills sharp, in the event I am let go due to unforeseen circumstances.

Practicing interviews is an unappreciated thing to do, +1 to you, sir.  I've done it a few times for positions I know I have no hope for - and actually came pretty close a couple of times!  I've also interviewed people that applied with the caveat that it was only for practice (I would never turn down such a request, despite it taking my time).  More people should do this...

well, Michigan does have more money free as a result of the salary difference between Beilein and Howard...

they could probably match any offer if they wanted too...just got to have Howard meet with Luke and determine whether staying makes sense to the both of them.

DSR feels a lot like those Heat guys who threw out "deal is done" when the meeting is ongoing.  It's just an educated guess where if he's right, Moss can claim "insider knowledge" and if not he can say "my sources were misled, and BTW I made a donation so trumpet me on social media."  I know it doesn't mean a ton to most, but I'm sure it's a stressful time on the Yaklich family already without some people on the internet trying to score some retweets.

Amy is true Blue.  You go girl and slap this stuff as you see fit !  Love to keep your family in A2 for years to come but do what is best for you all.  Hopefully that is part of the J-Howard family and team ... next up.

I doubt this dude actually has a source, but to play contrarian, if his source is from the Howard camp and has confirmed Howard doesn’t want yaklich back/is firing him, then amy yaklich wouldn’t really have any say in that. This dudes a hack tho.

If I remember, Moss had some legit sources back during the football coaching search. I think even Brian vouched for his sources when he got the scoop on the Brandon resignation press conference. That was 2014, of course, and I don't follow DSR close enough to know if he's had anything else noteworthy in the interim. But I think he's at least a short step above the Ace Williams/Yoder level of truly fake news.

With Moss, I think the issue is that he's more willing to throw out rumors as fact and "report" from his sources no matter what. In some cases, it's a game of telephone where vague or general statements from the source become fact when Moss (and others) make it public. Or a source who is undeserving of any trust or credibility talks to Moss, who just parrots it without considering all circumstances. Sometimes he's right, sometimes he's not, and he's so indiscriminate about what he puts out there that it's hard to tell the difference.

I had a fun twitter back and forth with Amy Yaklich a while back...she’s incredibly easy going and funny. I think she’s awesome.  And the fact she shot down Moss made my week!
