And before anyone says anything...
February 8th, 2021 at 5:59 PM ^
I have nothing snarky to add.
February 8th, 2021 at 5:59 PM ^
We're not eating soup
We're eating steak, rare with a big glass of whole milk
February 8th, 2021 at 6:04 PM ^
But not Chicken
February 8th, 2021 at 6:21 PM ^
I can't fully support someone who won't destroy a chikfila chicken biscuit.
February 8th, 2021 at 7:38 PM ^
I have only three words to respond to that:
Spicy. Chicken. Sandwich.
February 8th, 2021 at 7:44 PM ^
Popeye's spicy chicken sandwich is the superior spicy chicken sandwich.
February 8th, 2021 at 9:03 PM ^
This is 100 percent true. Chic-Fil-A sandwiches taste like damp sponges. (Plus the company is homophobic.)
February 10th, 2021 at 4:35 PM ^
The only difference is Chick-fil-a uses peanut oil and most others use a mixed vegetable oil. I personally prefer the peanut oil but their nonsense politics can fuck off. Still great medium to fry some chicken.
February 8th, 2021 at 9:14 PM ^
I actually like Wendy’s spicy chicken sandwich the best. As far as regular chicken I prefer Chik Fil A
February 9th, 2021 at 9:03 AM ^
gross
February 9th, 2021 at 8:49 AM ^
Gonna have to disagree. Biscuits, in most forms, are pretty much inedible. I mean, some are okay - if you douse them with enough butter and honey (or a jam), or sausage gravy.
I love me some Chik-Fil-A. But I'm just not a biscuit guy...
February 8th, 2021 at 7:48 PM ^
I am soooooooooo tired of the Harbaughisms, feel free to neg away.
February 9th, 2021 at 9:04 AM ^
sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo tired of recycled, lame gifs being used 10000x every week.
February 8th, 2021 at 6:03 PM ^
Not great news for us for all of the Campbell fans out there. It’s been made very clear that the AD is on a tight budget. Although it’s probably a moot point, Harbaugh is safe at his current salary as long as he averages 9 wins. IMHO.
February 8th, 2021 at 6:08 PM ^
Harbaugh isn't going anywhere... He can get 7 wins and still be fine - that would show great improvement over 2 wins.
February 9th, 2021 at 7:12 AM ^
The off-season is basically a reset for Harbaugh - barring losing seasons he's in place for 3 years.
February 9th, 2021 at 12:21 PM ^
And that is total bullshit, he now has to rebuild because of a situation HE created!
February 8th, 2021 at 6:05 PM ^
Charlie Weiss is available. Just sayin. He figured out how to get paid million of dollars every year for years to not coach ND.
February 8th, 2021 at 6:14 PM ^
Charlie Weis has the "schematic advantage" when it comes to buyouts.
February 8th, 2021 at 6:49 PM ^
He also had a serious weight advantage vs everyone except Mark Mangino and Ralph Friedgen
February 8th, 2021 at 6:06 PM ^
By Year 10 of this contract he'll have 3 Natties...
February 8th, 2021 at 7:50 PM ^
LOL!! this gave me a good laugh to close out my day. Thank you.
February 9th, 2021 at 9:57 AM ^
Only if you mean these ...
February 8th, 2021 at 6:08 PM ^
We have Daxton Hill and Colson is coming in, we'll be fine.
February 8th, 2021 at 8:59 PM ^
Dax Hill is going to be that really good defensive player in the NFL in a few years and people will ask “where did he even go to college” and Michigan fans will once again feel like they didn’t really get much out of them.
February 8th, 2021 at 6:17 PM ^
Good for him.
February 8th, 2021 at 6:21 PM ^
Tom Brady would be a better hire anyway
February 8th, 2021 at 6:27 PM ^
In fifty years they will have awkward deepfake holograms of his holiness Matt Campbell at the super bowl after he surpasses Saban in playoff titles.
February 8th, 2021 at 6:31 PM ^
Luckily I believe the reality is that, whenever Michigan does move on from Jim Harbaugh, buyout cost won’t be a barrier to them getting their guy
February 8th, 2021 at 8:28 PM ^
This. I'm happy for Iowa State and their fans, but if Ohio State, Notre Dame, or hopefully us come calling in the next year or couple years, that buyout won't be the reason he does or not get the job. He's doing his best to build that program and get the admin to spend some money, but the bigger programs will pony up the cash if they really want him.
February 8th, 2021 at 10:44 PM ^
You fake ass fan.s wishing for us to fail can shove it.
February 9th, 2021 at 12:15 AM ^
Agreed 100%
February 8th, 2021 at 7:01 PM ^
Campbell was such a hot commodity that no one even bothered to hire him.
February 8th, 2021 at 9:00 PM ^
It's nice of the NCAA and NFL to leave him alone so that he can come to Michigan next year.
But seriously, I assume he had teams reach out to him and it's sort of weird he didn't make the leap. I doubt one year matters to most people, but in the completely unbelievable instance that ISU takes a small step back next year it'll be interesting to see if Campbell tries to move on. He doesn't strike me as a lifer for the Cyclones.
February 8th, 2021 at 11:45 PM ^
Wonderfully said.
February 8th, 2021 at 10:05 PM ^
Matt Mike Jones Campbell.
February 8th, 2021 at 9:15 PM ^
After JH purge of staff and now having a young star ace recruiting staff, I am quite sure this is the way back, and not getting a decent tier 2 coach with decent staff but new to big recruiting.... JH figured it out, finally. Now we are on track.
February 8th, 2021 at 10:35 PM ^
How many years until we will know if this is the right path??
February 8th, 2021 at 11:29 PM ^
Is this satire? Harbaugh has had 4 national top ten recruiting classes since he's been here. Three were before this year. On his teams he's had Jabrill, Gary, DPJ, Shea, Charbonnet, Solomon, Chris Hinton, and the list of highly rated players goes on. NONE of them have lost fewer than 3 games in a season at Michigan. How can ANYONE think the reason we can't beat MSU, Penn State, Wisconsin, fucking Indiana, etc. is because our top ten national classes aren't good enough? Our teams don't win because our playcalling is asinine, our talent development and identification is TERRIBLE, and our gameday coaching AND weekly preparation are almost always worse than the opponent that week.
It feels insane that people think we just need to plug in more 5 stars and all of the problems will go away. How many times must we go through the cycle of: 5 star commits, underwhelms/is underutilized, transfers away to worse school/is drafted lower than projected out of high school?? Players can't succeed at Michigan because something is systemically broken. This has been a pattern for nearly two decades now
February 9th, 2021 at 6:18 AM ^
it pains me greatly to see this in print. all absolutely true, but its harder for me to deny when i see it, can evwn read it twice
February 9th, 2021 at 11:12 AM ^
So, you're saying that this started under Carr's regime and how could Harbaugh possibly fix this?
Harbaugh clearly deserves the blame for where we're at, but I also think he has somewhat surprisingly put together at least as good of a plan for success as starting over with someone like Matt Campbell.
February 9th, 2021 at 7:25 AM ^
Ah yes, JH "finally figured it out". New staff hasn't coached a single game yet, but NOW he really figured it out, for real this time
February 9th, 2021 at 8:54 AM ^
I am in agreement that I don't think JH has figured anything out other than putting together a great recruiting staff. Can they coach up the players? Will the playcalling, preparation and execution improve? That remains to be seen. Many of the JH apologists are acting just like what Sparty fans accuse us of, always hyping up players or coaches and giving out September Heisman's based on coach speak and early season returns.
All that said I hope I am very wrong and that JH has figured things out. I want Michigan to win and not only win but beat OSU and win Big Ten Championships. I'm not satisfied with 7-9 win seasons. If JH can get us there that's fine with me, but if he can't and thus far he has shown he can't, then its time for next man up.

The Campbell thing was never happening but it kept us busy.
If Harbaugh stumbles, Mike Hart is positioned to become interim and then permanent head coach. Especially after the RichRod experience, UM is not going outside the family.
