3 years of getting their heads stove in by Michigan has broken their GPS, among other things. What do you expect from a state school with an 80-85% acceptance rate.  It’s Sparty, with different colors.

Yeah, that's dumb but so are the replies dunking on it with pictures of the city. Dallas is not the desert because it gets more than 10 inches of rain per year, not because there are buildings and man-planted trees.

Lived in Texas for a while.  Driving IH-20 west from Texarkana, you can see the lush Southeast give way fairly quickly to the still-watered but noticably drier North Texas plains in which Dallas is situated.  Then, barely out of Forth Worth on the way to Abilene, starts to all get dry and Western, very fast.  By the US-84 split off IH-20 to Lubbock you're in the real stuff.  Underrated drive.  But Dallas is not the desert.

Living in Austin back then, I would drive up to SW Colorado (Pagosa, Durango) and the only way to do that efficiently was daisy-chaining (a very few) Interstates, (mostly) US Highways, and (some) state roads all the way up there diagonally NW.  Really good times, saw a lot of our country that way.

I'm less interested in OSU football's twitter account's knowledge of north central Texas geography, and more interested in whether they ever found out what happened in the last 8 minutes of their game on November 24th.  They were tweeting every first down and touchdown, Marvin Harrison had a highlight, and then... nothing.  Weird.

Ohio State Butteyes:

Where 5-star Me players go to play!

Funny how Ryan Day has yet to figure out that a running mobile QB was always Michigan's kryptonite! He still thinks it the crossing patterns.

I hope he is just like Don Brown and is too stubborn to adapt.

I heard this comment was posted AFTER the “US Geography” class final.   In fact, this question was actually on the final exam.

I can understand how some could have gotten the answer incorrect - it was a graduate level course.

Maybe they meant cultural desert? Not saying, just saying

I mean, the pic showing empty parking lots as far as the eye can see looks like a desert in a few respects…

They weren't talking about the physical location of the game. They were talking about the metaphorical location their football program is currently lost in, roaming like a tribe in a famous book. Except in this version they never come out of it.
