I'd like to see the thumbs up/down remain colored in once you've utilized it.  When you thumbs up or down a post and then leave and come back, the icon does not stay colored in which may make you select it again.  So you have to remember which posts you've voted up or down.

06/14/2018 - 8:53am I'd also like to see an…

I'd also like to see an easier way to get back to the main board without either using the back button in the browser or going to the top of the screen, selecting/hovering over mgoboard and then selecting mgoboard.

06/14/2018 - 8:46am Bugs aren't the same as…

Bugs aren't the same as features.  Bugs are things which are breaking/not working correctly.  These are low priority desires the community would like.  If Seth wants to have feature requests in the bug thread, that's fine, but figured keeping them separate would be a better organizational setup for the admins to focus on.

06/14/2018 - 8:36am I'd like to see an easier…

I'd like to see an easier way to navigate the board.  This includes putting page numbers at the top of the page as well as the bottom so that if I know a thread is on a different page or a post is on a different page I don't have to scroll all the way to the bottom to get to it.

06/13/2018 - 5:01pm Yes, but the scope wasn't…

Yes, but the scope wasn't that great in comparison to the day to day functionality of the board.  I was on it and it was a fresh new start.  Didn't have the breadth of content.  The number of testers was low too which resulted in low volume threads.  This isn't a fault of Brian or anyone else, but the scope of the beta test was strictly to make sure the interface was fluid.

06/13/2018 - 1:23pm Neither.  Wish it was a…

Neither.  Wish it was a better overall interface.  Drupal may work well for large scale blogs and forums, but it looks like absolutely shit in relation to modern website design.  I always feel coming here like I've taken a step back in time 10 to 20 years.

06/06/2018 - 1:12pm I can see not having one and…

I can see not having one and not missing anything for sure.  That said, it does add a little bit of a depth to the picture.  It's not like you're suddenly watching 3d without the glasses, but it does add a little something extra to the experience.

06/06/2018 - 12:45pm I have 3, all Samsung.  My…

I have 3, all Samsung.  My most recent was the most expensive one (65 inch curved 9000 series).  Under normal circumstances I'd recommend Samsung, but now, FUCK'EM!  Here's why.  My 9000 series cost approximately 5k and is a year and a half old.  Along the edge of the device panel I started to notice that the screen was washing out.  Lots of white bleed in.  It started in a corner and now covers the entire side of both sides.  Research online shows many are experiencing the same problem.  The warranty from Samsung is 1 year.  I reached out to Samsung and was told sorry about my luck, but I will need to talk to a repair shop and have the panel replaced.  The cost to replace the panel is $1500 and the shop I spoke to said they have done a few of these already and the problem comes back.  So the panels are poorly made.  Samsung won't stand behind their product and I'm not shelling out another 1500 for a panel that in a year or two will have the same exact problem.

On top of that, Samsung has moved to a proprietary adapter to promote what they call "Upgrade proof TV's"  Supposedly you can just buy a replacement box that is essentially the programmed software of the TV and plug it in to get all the new features etc... of new TV's instead of buying a new TV.  Interesting idea, but so far I'm not seeing the usability of it and the replacement boxes are about $400.  So you have to deal with a proprietary plug into the tv, which they don't have an extension for, nor is there any extension I can find from an off brand.  So my TV which is mounted about 7 feet away from my media cabinet has to have a box stuck to the back of the tv via velcro instead of just running an HDMI cable from my receiver to the TV, like any normal product would.  Of course with a curved back that has the plastic waved, the velcro doesn't stick all that well and I'm constantly having to get behind the tv to remount the damn upgrade box.

So I'd avoid Samsung because their customer service sucks, their product quality has gone down, and they have no desire to make their customer home integration a seamless experience.  So Fuck Samsung.

As clarified several times, I meant from the main page.  I accept the punishment from non-inanimate god objects.

06/01/2018 - 1:37pm Probably depends on where you

Probably depends on where you live.  In Atlanta, I honestly don't think I've seen one on the road.  In the rust belt area I bet there are far more.

06/01/2018 - 9:28am Everything Marchionne has

Everything Marchionne has said indicates that the company is focusing on RAM, Maseratti, and Jeep while not so much on Chrysler and Fiat.  The recent shareholder event didn't have the brand names of Chrysler or Fiat on the branded materials.  It's not hard to believe that the Chrysler name is going to go away.  It may remain in the US for a limited time, but I don't see it lasting past 2022.

06/01/2018 - 9:20am They will either move the

They will either move the Pacifica under Dodge or scrap it.  It's selling, but it's not like it's selling huge numbers.  In 2016 they sold about 60k,  in 2017 115k and 2018 they are on pace for 120k.  So it's going up, but it's still not a line that demands they retain it.  Killing off the caravan name may have doomed their minivan line.  That said Dodge isn't really known for their minivans as much as the Charger, Challenger, and Durango.  I don't see it moving to Dodge and being a top seller there either.

06/01/2018 - 7:52am From what I've heard, this is

From what I've heard, this is going to continue as the auto industry prepares for the transportation services industry to take over.  I don't know how that would play out, but the move away from conventional passenger cars to SUV and "White space vehicles" like Ford already announced kind of backs that mentality up.  The days of 17 milion vehicles sold each year is going away.  Large urban centers will start to utilize Uber and Lyft for transportation while areas outside of that will sill utilize car ownership.  I'm not a fan of this as I'm a huge Mopar fan and seeing anything that could potentially trim back the power lineups and availability just sucks to me.  But it's the way the market is moving.  Large capacity vehicles are more in demand than not now.

05/14/2018 - 8:43am I don't know why this is

I don't know why this is getting downvoted so much.  I mean I guess you could say you should have made a more optimistic post, but the context is right.  Most Everyone thought O'Korn would come in and be the difference maker.  Many were shocked when he didn't start.  Then we saw him play.  Yes, you can always point to somewhere else on the field as part of the cause, but in the end, he didn't translate to be the most NFL ready QB playing in college.  Maybe I'm jaded, but till I see Shea actually do something on the field, I'm hopeful, but cautious.  Ruddock was a great story.  Since then it's not been the same outcome.

This article written last year disagrees with you.  I also saw another info-graph which now I can't find which showed the Lebron has played with far more higher quality players than Jordan did around him.

04/13/2018 - 4:13pm So Engler blames the victims

So Engler blames the victims for tuition increase, Tries to negotiate a settlement with one, and allows a press release which borders or passes the line of violating privacy.  Honestly, if the accusations weren't so horrible, this would almost be comical.

If you're into camping, Straights State Park is right across the bridge just inside of St Ignace.  They have showers etc... so there's that.  not sure how much fun that'd be with an 11 month old, but figured I'd put that out there.

Take a nice drive up and see Tahquamenon Falls.  The hike isn't rought, so having an 11 month old won't be prohibitive.  http://www.exploringthenorth.com/tahqua/tahqua.html

There's the mystery spot  http://www.mysteryspotstignace.com/

Historical sights like Macknaw.

Soo Locks  https://www.michigan.org/property/soo-locks

St Ignace has some quaint shopping as well as nearby are great views of the bridge.

04/09/2018 - 4:34pm I guess I'm confused by how

I guess I'm confused by how posts pertaining to Engler and MSU are automatically attributed to being political.  While there is Judicial Activism which will play along party lines, the judicial system by and large is agnostic of politics.  I suppose you could say it's a chicken/egg situation since you can't have politics without ideals that are uphled along judicial lines.  Just because Engler was a partisan participant in his governorship, does not mean that every post on here about him is political by association.  Personally, the mods should create a super thread and shove any new threads started about the situation at MSU into that one thread.

03/27/2018 - 1:05pm Loved seeing Izzo dragged

Loved seeing Izzo dragged into it.

Wagner proved to be a quick learner and by the next season had evolved into one of the nation's most-promising players, averaging 12 points on 56 percent shooting, including 40 percent from 3-point range. His admiration of Garnett also apparently rubbed off, with Wagner even getting Michigan State coach Tom Izzo to call him a "pain in the butt" following an 86-57 loss to the Wolverines in February 2017.

Izzo was referring to Wagner's widely acknowledged tendency to let his emotions get the best of him, allowing harmless trash talk to occasionally escalate into the darker on-court arts of shoving and maybe an extracurricular elbow or two.

In the blowout win over Michigan State in Ann Arbor, Wagner and Spartans forward Nick Ward had been jawing all game before Ward appeared to trip Wagner as they crossed paths during a timeout. Ward insisted he didn't intentionally trip Wagner, and Izzo didn't let the incident pass without pointing out Wagner's antics. "Let's not kid each other here about what goes on," Izzo said.

I don't think anyone is saying he's overpaid or underpaid.  More that that structure where a round of 64 pays the same as a national championship is just strange.

I agree.  weird that a National Championship game caries the same payout as a round of 64 win.  I doubt JB cares about the money.  He doesn't seem like that kind of person, but whoever wrote that contract didn't seem to think JB would make it as far as he has.  I wonder what power Ward has to grant above and beyond bonuses.

03/13/2018 - 4:12pm What makes you think that any

What makes you think that any of the teams who didn't get in would suddenly have gotten in by scheduling a tougher non-con? I'm not disagreeing that the league needs better non-con games, but I doubt this is viewed by the B1G as a slap on the wrist.  Their workhorse teams, MSU, UM, OSU and Purdue got in.  IN missing is probably an embarassment because of their history, but the B1G was weak at the beginning of the year moreso than the end.  Unless you start sceduling UCONN, Duke, and NC at the end of the year, this would have little impact on the outcome of the season.

03/13/2018 - 2:44pm UVA, Michigan, Nova,

UVA, Michigan, Nova, Duke

UVA because I just don't see anyone standing in their way this year till the championship game
Michigan because I believe that we're hot right now and outside of NC, I don't see a team who can challenge us in this bracket while we're hot.  We pull a NW or Neb type game, or maybe even an Iowa game and things could get dicey quick.
Nova because I don't think Due can pull it off.
and Duke because Coach K has Allen who will just hip check any opponent who starts to get close to winning.

My finals are Duke vs UVA with Duke winning it all.  I hate Duke.

I agree with your point, but the fire from him on the sidelines directed as officiating or plays of the game etc was gone.  I don't know if the OSU game broke him, but from a players perspective, what could be more inspiring than to see your coach adamantely fired up on the sideline over some call.

We use YNAB.  Before I used Excel, but keeping it up to date and have everyone use it was difficult.  They are now using a subscription method which has a yearly fee.  The customer service is great, the subscription comes with training sessions as well on not only how to use the app if you need it, but also on financial principles.  It definitely made it easier for my wife and I to realize how much we waste money on stupid little things and allowed us to focus more on savings, investments, and debt paydown.

01/31/2018 - 12:15pm A little research shows that

A little research shows that Georgia had an 8 win regular season in 2016.  The only useful win they had was against Auburn which was a home game, but they lost to GT.  If a team regularly underachieves it's a different story, but 1 8 win season isn't going to throw your team into the gutter for all time.

The one recruit we were high on that got away that I’ve always been intrigued to see how he turned out was Dashawn hand. Looks like he was part of the rotation at Bama but never stood out as anything special. Not sure if that is indicative of the talent at bama or the true talent of hand.
