The bleak picture they painted is just the reality of winning a big ten championship, which has been hard for decades. Was it different for sparty when bo and woody were racking up big ten championships? No. sparty got a taste and now they think they'll win every year, but the reality is that it's hard to win the big ten.

Major points for efficiency; in less than a minute he drove that caller to tears. As brutal as it was though, crying suggests misplaced priorities; thank god I have a life.

to having misplaced priorities as the 2014 M/OSU game did me in.

Brady Hoke's last game, I was mentally prepped to lose, and even planned (for the first time) not to watch, instead driving my daughter to the mall.  Somerset Mall, an hour away from A2.  To distance myself further from The Game.

It just happened to be on the car radio - the second half.  I had watched the first half that I pledged not to watch at home. Got into the car at halftime and listened to the rest while driving.  Told my daughter I didn't care what happened.  We will shop til we drop and forget all about football.

Stuck to this story well after the fact.  Recently, upon mentioning out loud how I had stopped caring towards the end of Hoke's tenure, my daughter interrupted and said, "Mom, you pulled the car over to the side of the road to cry."

M/OSU will always be The Game.

Hang on, didn't MSU fans berate us for bringing up the past, or for saying "just wait til next year"? Whatever happened to living in the present? Suddenly they get to just close their eyes and say that this is normal and fine and MSU will be back next year???

I anticipate more tears coming the rest of the season, starting on Saturday after another loss to BYU and Mike Valenti's after a molly-wop on the 29th.

Double-D

Sparty is out their starting DT RWilliams and Malik is out for a half. This line is already razor thin and BYU is going to move the football. One of their starting OL is moving to D to help. They are also shuffling three of five line positions to find the "right chemistry". We know how that goes. Sparty will likely be dangerous for our game but this thing could seriously unravel on them this year.

after he had been rotating with Mangum(I think, can't recall his name atm), Hill is the kind of QB and BYU has the type of offense that would give even a good MSU defense trouble, and this MSU defense isn't really all that good, and are even worse with McDowell out for a half.

Combined with the fact that MSU's offense has been average, at best, and this is definitely a game BYU could come in and win, and then the schadenfreude would be phenomenal.

Dantonio would be wise to take his stock as high as it still is with a recent CFP appearance and leverage a job with Texas, USC, or LSU. Texas is a super long shot, but LSU seems reasonable. Jim and Urban are like having 2 Sabans to play against every year.

I don't want to ruin your Friday but people need to really drop this hope that Dantonio is going to leave for a better job. To him, there is no better job than MSU - granted he's probably the only human being on earth who feels this way, but MD/MSU were made for each other. He's going to retire at MSU.

I hope those tears keep on rolling on October 29th.

I'm sure this joker was laughing his ass off and taking sheer joy in our misery after the way the game ended last year. Karma is a bitch, pal.
