In a recent turn of events that only crootin can bring, Sam Webb thinks we have a LEGIT shot at Aubrey Solomon. He said he's floored.. also asks that Michigan fans stop with the "we don't want this kid" stuff. Because frankly, that's just bs and not true. Come on to AA Aubrey.. we'll welcome you with open arms. UPDATE: Ryan Bartow of 24/7 sports just Ballzed Solomon to Michigan

Yes, it's a glitch. My trip to Bolivia was briefer than originally scheduled; I believe when the originally scheduled return flight took place it had the extra points in baggage, and the valet dumped them all in my backseat before I could explain to him what was going on.

Anyway, they weren't earned.

Funny, I still have 10,000 of my points from the exact same thing. Mine was a very poor Sandusky joke. Actually, it was a great Sandusky joke that was in very poor taste. I apologized, asked for my points back, landed on the daily double, and have been artificially inflated ever since.

I went to Michigan and have said "fuck Michigan" numerous times after getting stuck in an early class or missing out on a class I really wanted.  I also said fuck Michigan a couple times after missing the on campus bus on bad weather days.  

As a recruit, he was just trying to make his teammate Holloman, who I believe got the thanks but no thanks treatment from Michigan, feel better. I would still be very shocked if Solomon commits to Michigan, but to make an issue out of him saying "Fuck Michigan" is really petty. Wherever he goes, he'll probably be a solid player and hopefully a good citizen.

I was just going to leave your comments alone, because reality is, that it will all come out in the wash anyways. Plus everyone being bullish is boring. The thing is I really like the odds that Michigan only has to hit on one of those guys and you are wrong. I feel pretty confident that you are wrong anyways, but really like the odds.

Sam's insider post didn't really shed anything substantive...the primary emphasis was how telling the interviews with Solomon and his mother are. I would hesitate to get hopes up until those are posted.

that seems to have been posted just a few hours ago, that features him talking about how close he got to the Georgia commits during the all-star game week, how very close with Najee, and that his current #1 is "Alabama (by a lot)" and #2 Michigan "(that education)"-- #3 Georgia and #4 USC, where he's going to take an official in a few days.  [Says Auburn and Florida will NOT get a visit, but MAYBE Georgia.]  Etc.  Make of it what you will.

National Recruiting analyst Ryan Bartow just put CB in for Solomon....It's happening.

Personally, I'd rather have Solomon than Harris.  I mean both would be great, but great DL's win games.

It doesn't offend me that he said "F Michigan", I couldn't care less. What is really annoying is that he has clearly stated that he is most interested in Bama, has already decommitted from us and has waning interest but we're trying to assess whether he has interest or this is just damage control. It's ridiculous. And we're gonna give a shit about what Sam says? I would never tweet a recruit and nobody should but what's said here is said, get over it. This place isn't going to shut down because Sam is afraid that this delicate flower might not like it. TRIGGER WARNING: Aubrey, if you want to come, great, we'll welcome you with open arms and I promise that after Feb 1 nobody will even know that you had decommitted at one point. If you don't want to come, great, best of luck to you elsewhere. I hope you graduate with a useful degree and have a hall of fame career in the NFL (seriously). However, be a fucking man about it--which I think you have been, the apology was a solid. It doesn't matter what people are saying, set a date, make a decision and stick to it. We should stop feeding this fucking drama.
