He had it previously according to Internet archive sites. Same goes for Instagram.

I noticed this a couple weeks ago on Twitter, so it isn’t brand new today. Haven’t seen it mentioned until now, so those in the know haven’t really given it much thought it appears.

I'm usually not one to fuel the Twitter-sleuths but he’s also removed all the other Michigan-related stuff that was on his profile. His cover photo used to be him in a Michigan jersey, now it’s a photo of a globe with the saying, ‘The World Is Yours.’ Doesn’t seem like a great sign.

Who knows with any of this stuff.  He's a teenager locked up inside without the ability to play basketball or make a meaningful decision on his future.  Maybe it means nothing, maybe it is a way to mess with us, or maybe he's choosing a different path.

To me, Christopher and Livers are more important to our success next year than Todd.  As much raw talent as Todd has (I highly recommend the 20-thoughts piece on UMHoops), he is also a kid that needs a lot of coaching.  Strange as this might sound, I could see him being used a little like Izzo used Jaren Jackson - only 20-22mpg, roll with him when he's hot and has a good matchup to exploit, play the veterans when he's struggling or in a tough matchup.  I  hope he ends up at UM, but I've prepared myself for all possibilities with him on and off the court at this point.

Christopher, meanwhile, has a more obvious path to playing time and making an immediate impact while also not having a proven, viable alternative on the roster.

I'm with timmmaay. Recruiting has become so fucking ridiculous in this era of college sports. People who pay for "inside" information need help. In the end, we all get the same information, that being who signs letters of intent and who doesn't. That is all that matters, actually. What doesn't matter is when a coach has an in-home visit or when a recruit visits a particular school.

This is Todd we're talking about, not Christopher.

Not saying I know the two guys, but I highly doubt that Todd pulls something like this just for fun. He's been telling everyone forever that he's coming to Michigan, and that he's really excited to do so.

I'd suspect that mom found an alternative route for him.

Yeah him deleting his commitment video from his Instagram is the most telling thing to me. I can understand changing Bios and all, but what's the point in going back months to delete your commitment video if you aren't leaving?

I normally wouldn't be too worried about this, but he also deleted his commitment video and I don't see his retweet of the 2020 Michigan Family Matters TikTok anymore, so I'm pretty worried

Aaaaand he unfollowed everyone besides Terrance Williams and Jaron Faulds

Spending a year overseas might make more sense for Todd than spending a year Michigan does. Going overseas allows him to make some money right away, focus 100% of his time on basketball, find a roster fit that will guarantee him minutes, and will probably have a negligible, in any, effect on his draft stock (guys like Afernee Simons, Darius Bazley, and RJ Hampton were all ranked lower than Todd coming out of high school, skipped college, and still were or are about to be 1st round picks). At Michigan he’d have to go to class, wait a year to earn any money, and compete for minutes in a loaded front court (assuming Livers returns), and risk being picked apart by scouts in the states.

What if the plan all year was for Livers to go pro and Todd was going to come in and start. Obviously Juwan planned for several departures the way he was recruiting. Now with the injuries and season cancellation Livers is leaning more towards coming back. So now the coaches had to say hey I know we promised you a starting role but now we think you’ll be behind Livers. So he didn’t like that and they decided to part ways. Lots of speculation obviously. But he seemed like he was all in up until today.

Yeah just trying to think what could have changed, which I’m speculating that Livers is now leaning towards coming back, without pulling his name out. He said he wants guaranteed money and maybe he’s just now realizing he’s not getting that in any of the mocks. We’ve heard of lot of the rumored departures confirm now they are coming back (Davis, Nunez, DDJ). I won’t go so far as to say Todd is getting processed, just that maybe both sides are realizing he isn’t going to get as many minutes as the original plan. If Juwan promised him 30 min a game that’s going to be a hard promise to keep.

I get it. If Christopher does commit, DDJ's gonna not have a ton of opportunity between Brooks and Christopher. He probably wants to command starter's minutes, and he's just not that caliber guy.

I like him a lot as a player. Tough, plays hard, has swagger. But offensively, he doesn't bring a ton to the floor.
