He had it previously according to Internet archive sites. Same goes for Instagram.

Commence freakout

He posted a new IG pic with the caption “I got so many opps I be mistakin opps for other opps” Whatever that means.

It sucks but with Livers coming back Michigan doesn't make all that much sense for Todd as 1 and done prospect. He's not coming here to play 15 minutes a game and Livers coming back makes those minutes pretty tight at the 4.

Let's assume neither Todd nor Christopher make it to Ann Arbor, but Livers comes back, who is your starters? I've got Dickinson, Livers, Franz, Brooks and Dejulius. Bajema, Davis, Johns, Bajema and Zeb as the backups. I dont see Castleton, Nunez, Williams or Jace playing.

Worst-case scenario is that Livers and Franz stay in the draft, DDJ transfers, and Christopher and Todd go elsewhere. I think there's a reason all of these rumors and things are getting set in motion right now.

My guess is that Livers and Franz are leaning on returning because there won't be pre-draft workouts and both players were already on the outside looking in when it came to getting drafted. DDJ likely told the coaching staff he was going to transfer which is why they are pursuing the Harvard transfer. Todd was then told by Juwan that Livers would be coming back and Todd is decomitting on account of the lack of minutes being available to him.

If Michigan gets Christopher and both Livers and Franz come back, that is one hell of a starting lineup, even without Todd.

With DDJ likely transferring, it is crucial they get that Harvard transfer so they have a backup PG. It's also much more important to get Livers back with Todd leaving. My guess is these things are already in motion as indicated by the unofficial trends (Todd's social media, DDJ's social media and uncle).

There is ZERO correlation between Todd and Livers, I can promise you that.  You think Todd, the #15 recruit in the country, doesn't think he can start and play 30 mins a game?  Also, Juwan isn't dumb enough to play a 5* 10-15 mins a game.  That would disqualify you from ever getting a 5* again.

We could easily lose both Todd and Livers.  Livers is just looking from a guarantee from one team.  There is a reason why Michigan has been in on multiple grad transfers.

Why is there zero correlation when they play the same position? You think Livers is coming back to be sixth man? You think Wagner is coming back to being a 6th man if Livers bumped up to the three? At the 4 you have to find time for Livers, Johns, and Todd. One of those guys is not going to be on the team next year.

Wagner and Livers will start if they're back. There's no chance Todd would play over them, as he isn't even close to their level as of now. Todd would have probably had around BJJ's impact, given he doesn't get exponentially better this summer/

Look, I’m sure Todd knew the roster before he committed! A McDonalds All-American and potential lottery pick isn’t running scared of Isaiah Livers and Brandon Johns. Chances are if he commits to another school they’ll have just as much talent(maybe more) as we have at the 4.

How is there zero correlation? They are going to play the same position.

Also the above comment about the worst case scenario. That is truly a scary proposition. Your starting 5 would be something like Brooks, Bajema, Nunez?, Johns, Castleton with Zeb, Jace?, no one, Williams?, Dickenson/Davis on the bench. Thats only 10 scholarship players with basically no depth at any position except you have 3 decent centers.

You must not see Kentucky (or Duke or UNC, etc.) play basketball.  They rotate guys but plenty of years UK has highly ranked guys not getting many minutes (e.g. Charles Matthews).  And yet they seem to pull in 5 stars every year.

Todd would be a big loss but he is not the most polished of players and it was not a sure thing he would be a starter all year.  He may have, he may not have.  Some guys need a bit to adjust and some guys are ready to go right away.

The thing is, if Livers comes back I can’t see Todd getting starter minutes. I don’t see him playing the 5 in Juwan’s offense (probably could have in Beilein’s). If Christopher comes there is no way JC, Franz and Livers don’t start. Todd could be our version of Deyonta Davis. Talented guy but just isn’t going to get the minutes.

I know JH has been touting that and showed it particularly in the guard position. However, look at how he used Teske this year. Much different than last year. Less pick and roll more back to the basket. Teske very very rarely went back to the basket under JB (and when he did he’d travel with Winston on him). If we are talking just talent, then having Christopher, Wagner, Livers, and Todd on the floor would be great regardless of who plays the 1. Just going off what we saw this year from Howard, someone like Hunter or Davis probably seems to be the starter type

Im super bummed reading this news about DDJ. He was gonna be a great Senior PG and pretty solid next season too. I have no clue how this could happen unless it is 100% Josh Christopher is coming and Howard told DDJ that he wouldnt have many minutes next season

It’s getting to the point where kids have to make a decision on where they are going to play. Kids are also being reminded that there may not be any NCAA fall or winter sports without a coronavirus vaccine. It’s far more likely they will have league play overseas. If you are on the fence you are not taking the chance of not playing at all. You will go overseas. That may be the case here from those I have talked to.

My guess is that he's going to play in Australia. Partially as he'd be following in the footsteps of LaMelo Ball (who could go #1 and recently bought part of the team he played for), RJ Hampton etc, as he made a point to tweet on March 22 about the Australian bushfires. It was a little strange as the bushfires were really all extinguished weeks earlier. Also, the March 27 tweet "boy oh boy do I have story for the world ...." looked ominous at the time.

A bummer.

It looks as though Christopher will announce on April 13. Fingers crossed.
