I've have PlayStation Vue for several months now and will never go back to cable. The price has gone up $15 since I first joined, which is a bummer, but I get all the games I want to watch, it's still much cheaper than cable, and I haven't had any major performance issues. I like it a lot.

If the coaches thought he would be around for a 5th year, they would've redshirted him. Sam Webb said in a recent podcast that the staff decided a redshirting Nico would've been a waste. They believe he'll be in the NFL by that point.

Collins is unlikely to use a 5th year anyway.

Where did you hear that? I haven't seen anything about Michigan recruiting Sainristil as a slot, although I thought he looked really good with the ball in his hands on Hudl.

07/05/2018 - 2:42pm Sainristil is a CB.

Sainristil is a CB.

There was a FB in each of the last two classes.

06/30/2018 - 9:05am That's not exactly right…

That's not exactly right. Sam said the recruit wanted to commit but had to hold off because the staff wouldn't take his commitment. There wasn't room for him, which makes me think it was probably a lower rated guy.

That's all I need to know, as well.

But I get the feeling I don't mean that the same way you do.

Quinten Johnson, probably .

Well that's good news, then. Fletcher and Williams are both only 3 star recruits, so we don't want them anyway, right?

06/21/2018 - 12:09pm Thanks for the list, Magnus…

Thanks for the list, Magnus. One question, though: didn't Michael Fletcher cancel his visit? I thought sam webb mentioned a week or so ago that Fletcher wasn't coming this weekend.

Is there a spot for a PG in the 2020 class? If we land DJ Carton we'd have DeJulius, Brooks, and Carton already on campus when the 2020 class arrived.

06/20/2018 - 1:21pm Hi Colin.

Hi Colin.

06/14/2018 - 3:29pm I grew up around Eric…

I grew up around Eric Rudland, Ann Arbor FC's Manager, and played for his father, Ron, in High School. I'm not surprised at all that he's been able to recruit players from all over the world to Ann Arbor FC; he's been able to do that everywhere he's coached. When Eric was in charge of the men's soccer program at Spring Arbor University, for instance, he was successful in recruiting international players to the school that were a higher caliber than what you normally see at the NAIA level.

06/07/2018 - 1:11pm I remember when you used to…

I remember when you used to post negative stuff about Beilein and his recruiting all the time. Now that there isn't much to complain about with him, you've taken your concern trolling shtick over to the football program.

It's a shame you didn't learn anything from your prior foolishness.

04/21/2018 - 11:04pm Any idea what’s happening

Any idea what’s happening with his recruitment? Why did he back off on committing to Michigan?

04/16/2018 - 9:29pm That’s what I figured. Thanks

That’s what I figured. Thanks for the reply!

04/16/2018 - 8:33pm I also think Barnhart will be

I also think Barnhart will be a good, versatile piece to have along the line. Nolan Rumler, Trente Jones, Jack Stewart, and Karsen Barnhart would be a solid start. Add William Harrod or Xavier Truess and you’ve got a pretty good OL haul.

04/16/2018 - 7:52pm Hope this doesn’t mean Karsen

Hope this doesn’t mean Karsen Barnhart, who is announcing his commitment on Friday, is no longer a take.

04/16/2018 - 7:50pm Seems like you know your

Seems like you know your stuff. Do you think Barnhart is still a take or did Stewart beat him to the punch?

04/15/2018 - 12:12am But you were part of the FIRE

But you were part of the FIRE BEILEIN chorus...

04/12/2018 - 3:49pm Taisun

Heavy lean to Florida State, per Sam this morning.

04/12/2018 - 3:43pm Last I checked, Youtube TV

Last I checked, Youtube TV isn't available everywhere.

04/12/2018 - 3:40pm Where do you live? I would

Where do you live? I would love to give YouTube TV a try, but unfortunately it's not available in all areas. I have PS Vue instead and haven't had many issues with it.

04/12/2018 - 2:19pm EDIT:

EDIT: Just saw that this is "Offense, Part 1." Asked a question about the lack of an OL section, was bad and feel bad.

04/12/2018 - 1:47pm During the Recruiting Roundup

During the Recruiting Roundup segment today, Sam Webb mentioned that Michigan has been telling QB recruits that they're planning to take two QBs in the 2019 class. He mentioned Sam Johnson, Taisun Phommachanh, and Graham Mertz as current options, though he said he doesn't think Michigan is in the driver's seat for any of the three at the moment.

04/10/2018 - 7:39pm Yes. He played early on

Yes. He played early on during his freshman season, hurt his knee, and took a medical redshirt.

04/10/2018 - 4:43pm A redshirt can definitely be

A redshirt can definitely be beneficial for the player receiving it, you’ll get no argument from me there. My point is that, based on Beilein’s history with redshirting players here, it’s likely Castleton will be playing somewhere besides Michigan five seasons from now whether he redshirts or not. I’d rather get whatever he can contribute this year than spend a year developing him we probably won’t get back.

04/10/2018 - 4:36pm That’s my point though. More

That’s my point though. More often than not, Michigan players who get redshirted don’t finish their eligibility at Michigan. With that in mind, I’d prefer Castleton not get one.

04/10/2018 - 3:57pm I keep seeing this idea that

I keep seeing this idea that Castleton might redshirt floating around. He won't, and shouldn't, do that. College basketball isn't like football; a redshirt year isn't that beneficial. In most cases, the player ends up being good enough to leave before he ever gets to year five (and from all accounts, Castleton has the type of skillset and ceiling to do that) or he's recruited over and offered a firm handshake. Michigan is better off getting what they can out of Castleton in year one than they are hoping he's around for year five.

04/06/2018 - 2:13pm ....have you looked at the

....have you looked at the 2018 class?

04/04/2018 - 3:45pm Castleton is not going to

Castleton is not going to redshirt. He’s the 3rd big and isn’t the type of player who will stay for 5 years anyway. Also in college basketball redshirting is rarely that helpful.

03/16/2018 - 11:35pm I remember when several

I remember when several people on this board wanted John Beilein to be replaced with Tony Bennett.

03/10/2018 - 8:11pm Michigan finishes second so

Michigan finishes second so often. It really sucks.

03/07/2018 - 5:58pm Right, but Burke also

Right, but Burke also represented the basketball team. He wasn’t just a regular student. Why should the university fault him for jumping at the opportunity to maximize his talent and earn millions of dollars? He’s one of the greatest basketball players to ever represent the school. Hang his jersey.

03/07/2018 - 5:35pm That’s stupid.

That’s stupid.

03/07/2018 - 10:59am Why?

Why? There are so many cheaper, better options.

03/06/2018 - 3:50pm Who pays $100+/month for

Who pays $100+/month for cable these days?

02/27/2018 - 8:38am I wonder what Winston's stats

I wonder what Winston's stats would've looked like if MSU had played any of the top six teams in the league more than once this year.

02/26/2018 - 10:19pm Magnus, do you think Michigan

Magnus, do you think Michigan is offering so many in-state prospects in the 2019 class as a way of just establishing a relationship earlier than they have in precious classes? I can’t imagine all these offers are commitable at this point.

02/24/2018 - 5:28pm No team had ever won the BTT

No team had ever won the BTT as the 8 seed either, until last year.

02/23/2018 - 11:43am They were all wrong and you

They were all wrong and you don't see many of them admitting it, either. They just go away while the program is successful and wait for a time when they can complain again.

02/23/2018 - 10:49am I remember when I'd try to

I remember when I'd try to explain that the biggest reason Beilein wasn't landing top tier prospects was because of his unwillingness to open his check book for them and the FIRE BEILEIN crowd would tell me how wrong I was.

02/23/2018 - 10:37am Yet another reason why the

Yet another reason why the chorus of those calling for Beilein's job last year were dead wrong.

02/16/2018 - 3:05pm I'm sure Jim will be

I'm sure Jim will be devastated to hear that.

02/16/2018 - 3:01pm Who says he's actually

Who says he's actually coaching them? Pep had "WR coach" in his title last year too and he didn't coach them at all.

02/16/2018 - 1:59pm Isn't entirely possible that,

Isn't entirely possible that, even though WR coach is part of McElwain's title, he doesn't spend any actual time coaching them? Sort of like Pep last year?

02/16/2018 - 12:18pm It seems we're destined to be

It seems we're destined to be the 8/9 seed that no 1 seed wants to see in their bracket.
