If peters and Speight are out

which is distinct possibility, who will be the back up QB? Malzone? Has he played in a game and if so has he thrown a pass?

I very much doubt they will play McCaffery and burn his redshirt.

That would really, really be something.  I imagine the vast majority of UofM fanbase would think, "hmm, that's interesting". On the otherhand, I wonder what would go through Malzone's head after a convsersation that starts, "Ok Alex, you've been working hard on this team for years and put in your time.  I think it's time for your first start, against OSU. Part of this is because two of our other quarterbacks have almost been killed by lesser defensive lines than the one you'll be facing".

Me too. I have a Thanksgiving dinner early that day but was going to do what I could to watch. If JOK starts I am not going to go out of my way to catch the game. I would just get pissed anyway watching him stare down the first receiver he sees as he shuffles with happy feet.

Would rather see Malzone. At least that would be somewhat of a mystery.

Ok someone put up a JOK HS highlight tape Before I actually start to think a Malzone deep ball could be our best offense. Haha. I'm sure JOKs tape looks just as good...but damn would be nice for a WB he could through a catchable deep ball.

A kid who has never thrown a single pass in college going up against a bunch of juiced up five stars who want nothing more than to put our whole team six feet under? Yeah that should end well.....

I know, I know. There's no real good options out there to begin with. I'm still just bitter that we can't have nice things.

I'm with ya man but at this point it's not like JOK is going to accomplish anything that Malzone can't. If anything, maybe Malzone presents a threat that we can at least look downfield. Honestly I think 50% of the success in the run game we had during the Peter's era was because opponents couldn't just load the box the way they did against JOK.

Just saw this in a top secret post, from a guy's cousin's son who overheard this at Schembechler Hall. Manuel has petitioned the NCAA for a medical redshirt for old #4 after that broken collarbone in the MSU game in 1984.  If granted JH will suit it up and return for one last shot against the Enemy.  Vegas is already lowering the spread.  He is expected to get mass protection by the line due to jobs being on the line in this case.

Just go the Hoke way and throw Peters out there with a concussion? Actual answer is probably actually Gentry. This would have been an excellent Monday question that wouldn't have gotten answered but I'd pay to see the reaction.

If Speight and Peters are out, we live and die with O'Korn. What you guys don't know is O'Korn has been holding back all year. Harbaugh is in the middle of a season long troll of OSU and O'Korn is really the best QB in college! It was a trick to lull OSU into a false sense of confidence.
