Same but in the MST. I love me a 10am kickoff. The game is wrapped up by mid-afternoon allowing other, healthier, pursuits.
This year has been extra convenient with my wife and I having a 14 month old (hasn’t seen UM lose to OSU yet!). I graciously told her to take Saturday mornings this Fall to get herself outside while I watch the boy and watch UM at the same time. Winning!
My new take on the long commercial breaks (and replays) might be a little out of left field. For a team such as Michigan vs a faster paced, throw the ball 50 times/game team (OSU) perhaps it’s an advantage. It gives our defense time to catch their breath and make better in-game adjustments. Same with the offense as far as making adjustments. I’m sure after Edward’s first huge TD that OSU would of been happier with no tv commercials, a quick kickoff and try to catch UM’s D out of breath after their previous drive.
Plus, I’m at home and can tend to other matters during the breaks.
Oof, just glanced at their season and basic stats. Not good Bob. He may be in over his head not having a strong football culture backing him up at this stop. Not sure if Cristobal is going to have the ability nor time to build an identity other than fast and athletic at Miami. And any coach can get that simply by throwing a net within 50 miles of their campus.
No regrets here, in fact someone should be sending Miami a holiday gift for taking Josh on.

Did anyone realistically think that Illinois was good enough to just come out and roll over MSU? I was hoping they would, but the Fightin’ Tucks were bound to come out angry as a cornered cat (or dawg if you prefer) in heat. Going on the road probably helped them re-focus and leave some of their problems in EL. Add to that the fact that the Illini are one dimensional and seemingly incapable of bully-balling MSU’s D and it all comes together in a good recipe for attempting to change the narrative. MSU Resiliency or some shit like that.
Every time the camera panned to Tucker he looked to me like a man who hasn't had a bowel movement in a week trying his hardest to push at least one little shit out.
Yep! A co-worker showed me this site earlier in the year. It's a game changer. Number of subscriptions I'm paying for = 0. Shit and my work pays for Starlink including the hardware. I was able to watch last week's CSU game on replay that evening without commercials via some other links.
Switched companies this past Fall. My previous employer didn't hold true to the letter of agreement we had signed. They actually moved the goalposts saying I'd have to relocate from Montana to Denver for any kind of promotion. New employer is allowing me (and all engineering/management) to work remotely plus travel to work sites as needed. Much better life/work balance and benefits.
I'm really hoping that the tournament selection committee puts MSU in the same bracket as Duke. First weekend Izzo losing once again to the K. Then Duke can lose of course.
"They will be of course highly motivated for a rivalry game."----well, no shit sherlock. Isn't that the point. Me thinks UofM and the fanbase too often take the "to cool for school" attitude towards our rivalry with MSU in both football and basketball.
I had such high hopes for this team at the beginning of the season. But I've come to realize that the pre-season analysis and hype glossed over some alarming deficiencies; namely a lack of elite athleticism (the dunk contest at the beginning was a clue), no proven outside shooting, short non-threat guards, and finally not much in way of player development in the off season.
Hopefully Juwan and the boys regroup for the end of the season and there's plenty of adjustments made in the off season.
To everyone asking if its legal. What is legal anyway? Who's going to to enforce it? The NCAA? Yeah, right. There aren't really rules that seem to be enforceable in any segment of our society anymore. Moral high grounds are great and all but when it comes to "sports" it'd probably be best to check those feelings at the door.
Do I wish UofM and the associated boosters with money would open up their wallets in a meaningful way? Hell yes. Do I think they will? Nope. College Football and Basketball have become some sort of unregulated and free for all industry. Dark money. Total cowboy capitalism. Organized professional sports have more parity due to their installed systems of checks and balances (salary caps, unions...).

The guard play has been just awful. If opposing teams aren't afraid of any combination of guards on the floor than you have a problem. Short, cannot shoot, can't dribble drive/finish, can't defend the same, and definitely not superior athletes. Its gonna be a slog my friends. Stop signing guards who can't shoot from outside.

I cannot stand watching broadcast games. From the commercials to the announcers to the ads to the repetitive shots of the same fans and sorority girl cheerleaders. I'd rather just have a all 22 broadcast with subtitles.
