Here's how Harbaugh can avoid suspension

Submitted by BrokePhD on November 10th, 2023 at 4:15 PM

As a penalty imposed on the institution, the University football team must compete without its Head Football Coach for the games remaining in the 2023 regular-season, effective immediately.

Since Harbaugh is not explicitly named, here's what the AD could do. Immediately demote Harbaugh to Assistant HC, promote water boy to HC. Water boy/HC serves the suspension. Assistant HC/Harbaugh slides into the interim role.

Discuss.

The Bid Ten is trying to be cute, when everyone knows Harbaugh was their target. Their problem is that there are various ways schools have been punished that were available to them. They chose something, that to my knowledge, is unprecedented. That's going to draw a lot of scrutiny.

An interesting tidbit, betting lines on the game are virtually unchanged.

The BIG 10 lawyers put this one in play by stating, "This is not a sanction of Jim Harbaugh." So Harbaugh can be there apparently if he isn't the head coach.

How is the Big 10 going to explain that this isn't a sanction of Jim Harbaugh but he cannot be there?  An obvious contradiction.

Michigan just needs to go nuclear here. Win the whole thing and leave the conference. All the other 13 teams can go fuck themselves. Piece of shit. Well, I hope UM acts more calmly and goes after B1G. I probably would have lost my shit. LOL

What I'd very much love to see is the team running the table, destroying Iowa (or whoever the B1G West champ is), with Harbaugh and team declining to accept the B1G championship trophy. Just walk off the field when the clock hits 0:00.

And of course, start talking to the ACC and SEC. It can't hurt.

We have had 4 different head coaches for games this year.  Since the Big 10 didn't specify which one, then it should be up to us to pick for each game.

At least that's how things should work in this nonsense world we find ourselves in.

No. Promote Stallions to head coach. He gets to be head coach per his manifesto, and Michigan gets to have Harbaugh coach. Now everyone who is supposed to be punished is punished appropriately.

I would love it if we saw something like this...

An emergency press conference from Jim Harbaugh:

"Due to the unfortunate decision by the Big Ten Conference today, I am resigning my position as Head Football Coach of the University of Michigan, effective immediately"

Emergency press conference from Warde Manuel:

"I am saddened to learn of the resignation by Jim Harbaugh. Given the timing we'll forego naming an interim replacement and begin looking for a permanent candidate at the conclusion of the 2023 football regular season.
With that out of the way, I am excited to announce the hiring of Jim Harbaugh as the Assistant (to the) QBs coach. Jim brings a wealth of knowledge and experience and I look forward to the contributions he can bring to the team"

Not to worry folks; as I had stated earlier, Operation Doubtfire is already well underway.

I've used the latest AI technology to show what it may look like tomorrow on the sidelines.
