03/18/2018 - 11:16pm Me too

I let my 11 year old son stay up late and watch the game with me. Right after MAAR missed the lay up and Davis got fouled, we called it quites - for the exact same reasons! Son went to bed, but I couldn't sleep, so I went an organized files in my office (crazy, I know). An hour later I pulled up Mgoblog and I see Jordan Poole muppets! I literally screamed.

12/25/2017 - 12:23am Exact same

Seriously. The absolute fondest memories I have are from Christmas Eve with my grandma and the family. Lots of Euchre too. Always Euchre.

08/24/2017 - 1:51pm Best advice

Make a shit ton of money! Housing is out of this world expensive.

02/05/2017 - 10:57am Great Article

Thanks for posting this. I enjoy seeing this side of Harbaugh - and I envy his ability to be so relaxed before a big game! I'd be the complete opposite.

The Keweenaw Brewing Company has great beer, and only $2.75 a pint!

10/29/2016 - 6:31am Ha!

That cracked me up!

10/28/2016 - 9:16pm Thanks

Thanks. Have a pint a Brewery Becker for me!

10/28/2016 - 9:14pm Yep...

You and I have had similar experiences! Still can't turn down Two Hearted.

10/28/2016 - 8:44pm Agree!

Yep, we LOVE Brighton! But I work in downtown Lansing for the DNR, and I hated the commute! Grand Ledge is OK, but no Brighton.

10/28/2016 - 8:09pm Moved to Lansing Area

So, I moved to the Grand Ledge (west side of Lansing Metro) about three months ago from Brighton. I expected the green grief, but it was much more than I imagined. However, this week I've seen a massive amount of Michigan gear around town, which makes me not regret the move so much!

10/28/2016 - 8:04pm You...

Are a much better man than me!

10/28/2016 - 8:03pm Macro-Micros

So, it was Fat Tire. Now Belle's Two Hearted! To the dismay of my wife...

12/24/2015 - 8:25pm Yes,

Mr. C!

11/26/2015 - 12:24pm Lions and euchre

Having lived all over the country, I could always watch Lions lose. But now that we are back in Michigan I can play euchre again.

02/07/2015 - 6:27pm Great Article

Wow, did not expect an Ohio journalist to write something like this! Good for him...it's not just Michigan fans!

02/07/2015 - 6:20pm Section 134! And I think

Section 134! And I think off-key will be common for our fledgling singers!

Ha! My daughter sings in the Hornung elementary chorus too! See you at Crisler tomorrow!

12/28/2014 - 1:53pm OSU Buddies

I have a couple of friends that are big OSU fans. They have insisted that Harbaugh would not leave the NFL and that Michigan looked like a fool. Ah....I can't wait to chat with them!

08/24/2014 - 10:45pm Borrow Cable Password/Username

Borrow the cable password and username from a friend/family member. This will give you access to BTN2g0 and Watch Espn!

11/11/2013 - 10:28am Juco Help

My thought is if all the blame is on the youth of the line (which is a joke), shouldn't the coaching staff have seen this coming? One thing they could have done is went and got a couple of experienced linemen from a junior college to help the transition. .

07/31/2013 - 4:55pm Nebraska!

The entire state of Nebraska revolves around Husker football. I have not spent much time in SEC land, but I can not imagine another location more emotionally attached to one sports team than Nebraksa.

I did not know this! Check it out!

11/19/2011 - 4:38pm Couldn't agree more about

Couldn't agree more about Fitz. He is fun to watch!

I live in Omaha. I can't express how awesome this game was!!!!

09/09/2011 - 3:17pm Still laughing

Good one! What husband hasn't done something similar!!

11/16/2008 - 5:03pm Bright Future

McGuffie has had at least 2 100 yard rushing games, in situations where the entire defense knew that Michigan was going to run (becuase they couldn't throw more than 2 yards downfield). Granted, defenses have been playing the run all year, but the line did improve later in the season.

Minor and Brown can make a 2 yard gain, out of what McGuffie would have a 1 yard loss. When your offense has pretty much a zero downfield threat, a bruiser is what you need. But when the spread starts to work (ie room to run), McGuffie is much quicker, and shiftier, than Brown or Minor.

Can you remember how many losses Barry had for those horrile lions teams? Barry had to contend with a defender on his back the instant he had the ball, but he ended his career as the most electrifiying (and greatest) running back to ever play. If he had played on those Cowboys teams that Emmitt did, he would have had multiple 2,000 yard seasons. When RR get's a qb that defenses have to respect, McGuffie will excel.

08/24/2008 - 3:44pm McGuffie

Yes, it all comes back to him....

You guys seem to know what level of competition these highschoolers play. What was McGuffies? I've heard it was some of the best. To put up those numbers, against the best competition, all we need to do is hand it off to him, right?!

07/31/2008 - 11:35am Utah Game I think that the intrigue of a major change at Michigan would make their opening game of national interest. USC is big, but they are playing Virgina and will destroy them. Not much of a game, really. The Utah - Michigan game, well who the heck knows! I PRAY that the local station in Omaha broadcasts Michigan, because I don't have cable!
07/12/2008 - 1:04am agree Based upon HS stats and competition, McGuff outshines Grady. There is a much larger upside with Sam.
07/11/2008 - 3:26pm McGuff When did he arrive on campus?? I hope RR gives him a real chance this season! His acceleration is ubelievable... One thing that kind of bugs me about his detractors, is that they say he did nothing in the AA game down in San Antonio. If I'm not mistaken, wasn't he the most productive running back? The only back to actually 'break' a long gain? I know it was late in the game, but what does that matter. If it were easier, why didn't any other backs break long ones in the 4th quarter?
