Why would you question "unlawful purpose"? One random possibility is that they brandished the weapon during an assault, or robbery, or what-have-you, as an act of intimidation/scare-tactic. Is that not unlawful just because it is not a "real" gun that could more easily kill you?

"Pretty much confirmed" does not mean it has been confirmed... Therefore, there's still a reasonable discussion to be had around viable replacement candidates. I will agree that it does in fact look likely Harbaugh returns, but until it's inked, there still room for discussion.
