Cool Story Bro-Harbaugh
This morning I was picking up a colleague and waiting in the lobby of a downtown Grand Rapids Hotel. Several Michigan clad (sneakers to hats casual) men and a woman were in the lobby as I walked in so I said, “Go Blue” and was given a “Go Blue” back.
As more folks gathered I noticed Sherrone Moore and I think it was Weiss, Minter, Clinkscale and Elston along we some grad assistants. One of the grad assistants said they were in town recruiting but did not seem to want to elaborate.
Harbaugh came down a few minutes after everyone had gathered. He was walking with a purpose and looked directly at me as he passed by. I said Go Blue coach and he responded “All day long!”
A few minute later he walked by and said “Hey, where did you get that coffee?” I replied “straight back and too the left but be careful it’s awfully hot.”
The coffee was burn your mouth hot and hot to hold in the cup. A few minutes later he strolled out to the parking lot with the group holding his coffee. As he walked by he said, “dang that coffee is hot”. I said, “yes sir, have a great day”. He said “you too”
Anyone know what’s going on in GR?
Yep, I know what's going on. You were supposed to tell him you'd give him $13.5 million for the football program's NIL needs. How'd that go?

He's awesome. I met him a few times. I think the funniest interaction I had with him was at the protest to have the 2020 season and I saw him and was just absolutely shocked to see him there. I said "I'm so glad to see you. Thank you so much for coming," and he responded "I'm so glad to see you. Thank you so much for coming."
Little suspicious how he used exactly the same words. It might have been one of the many Har-bots Schembechler Hall is putting out on the trail.

The Michigan Football showcase is going on in Big Rapids right now. Big Rapids is a hole, and Grand Rapids is just a quick shot down US131.
I had no idea Ferris State was that close to GR and I've been to Ferris State for a weekend in college.
Almost an hour drive.
There's a Sound Body Sound Mind event at Ferris State today. Harbaugh and a few other coaches are there

High school me once saw Jalen Rose buying a shitton of gatorades and snacks at a 7-11 and my teenager brain thought it was so cool to be rich enough to buy bulk numbers of individually sold snacks and beverages at 7-11 instead of buying them in bulk at Meijer at a discount.

Theyre all in town to go see their favorite Michigan jamgrass band, Greensky Bluegrass, throw their annual hullabaloo at Shagbark Farm, known as Camp Greensky.
I LOVE their cover of Pink Floyd’s “Time.” So fun...

Today Little Feat & Steve Kimock are also performing before Greensky. That is one hell of a lineup of absolutely amazing musicians that anyone in the area shouldnt miss!
I heard them on World Cafe a while back and enjoyed their music very much. They performed a tune called All For Money that I was particularly fond of.
Went to high school with one of the band members of Greensky Bluegrass. So I got that going for me....which is nice!
