Nothing like an ess-ee-see team playing a 'neutral site' game in their footprint (which also happens to be an hour from campus).  Super neutral.  Rough travel schedule.

A neutral home game for Georgia. These "classic" games always seem to be in SEC states. Would be cool to these SEC teams play in NFL stadiums in the north or the west to open the season. The Mile High Classic or a game at Paycor (cincy) would be cool. Need to quit pretending the SEC playing in the SEC states is a neutral site.

FSU - a couple quick observations.

First, Georgia is very good - no question about that,

Second, Georgia / Oregon looks like a “neutral” site game, played about 70 miles from Georgia’s campus - and a crowd that’s 95% Georgia fans.

Third - the game / series you noted - was LSU / Wisconsin - which was “neutral / neutral” at professional stadiums - one (Lambeau) and I would guess the other was Superdome (New Orleans).  I prefer home / home with on campus games - but - I don’t have an issue with that LSU / Wisconsin series.

Fourth, there is “no return game” for Georgia / Oregon - at least there’s nothing I can see on the schedule for the next seven years.  So, you have a neutral site game - an hour from campus - definitely an advantage for Georgia.

Is it in bad taste to be somewhat relieved that another top ranked team is getting punched in the mouth, mercilessly, by UGA?

I want Oregon to win, but they don’t seem to belong on the same field.  It’s just too easy for Georgia…
