2010 Favorite MGoBoard Posters
First time starting a thread so there's that. As I was killing time today, I came across a plethora of 2010 Best Of lists and starting thinking about my favorite site. I won't pretend this is a best of, it is strictly my top 5 favorite MGoBoard posters this year (not talking diaries here - way too many great diarists).
There are many, many interesting contributors and this site is a must see for me everyday but these are my top 5.
1. TomVH - The Minister of Information
2. jhackney - I'm biased toward all things Hunter S. Thompson but hackney is also someone who comes across like I've known him for years.
3. MDoc - Simply for The Denarding. That was a special piece of work. Thanks for creating and sharing it.
4. Magnus - I might get sent to Bolivia for this but I simply like what Magnus contributes.
5. aaamichfan - Helped me out with a video (Will Farrell meatloaf) and can evoke a good laugh.
I'm hoping this doesn't turn negative and it gives those of us with nothing going on today one more topic to discuss. Enjoy your holidays however you celebrate!

Kilgore Trout, Bando and Zone Left for sticking to their guns, even when being unfairly negged. And Don for being brutally reality based in his predictions/view, but never taking any glee in seeing or saying how it is.

May sound slightly gay (not that there's anything wrong with that) but i truly like ALL you guys. Living down here in Ohio it's so so nice to talk sports with people that have IQs in triple digits and can actually debate a point without screaming "Fuck You" as soon as they start to lose.

I like CrimeReporter, and not just because he just got engaged. I remember his post about not going to Michigan and still being a fan, and I've loved him ever since then. One of the most coherent and intelligent posters on this site and doesn't use his high point total to belittle newer posters either.
I also like Section 1 because of his consistently balanced viewpoints.

The Other Brian as well. He's one of those posters I stop for when I see his picture when I'm scrolling through long threads. WolvinLA2 is another of my favorites. All my other favorites have pretty much been mentioned now. So thought I'd add those two to the list.

Excellent additions everyone. I pretty much ruled out Brian, Tim, Misopogon, etc. who I look at as the main content folks and diarists. I probably could have used that logic for TomVH but he also posts on the board from time to time. I'm feelin kind of Mgroworld....this place is like home for me.

Magnus just tells it like it is. No bullshit, no jive, just straight forward. If you ask him something, he'll usually try to give you an answer when he sees it.

I was really surprised to find that you were coming up to UofM next year.
From your writing I thought you were much older.
Also, I like your surveys.
Edit: Most of my favorites have already been named and the list is a little long. But, I haven't seen First Base named and I like his sense of humor.
Also, though already named, I would like to call out WolverineHistorian, because history is some of the best stuff on here.

had like 5 different names and kept trying to make diaries before the season and getting torn apart on multiple accounts. I think one of his names was Bolton23 or something along those lines.
Really, though, TomVH for his insightful recruiting news--I live on that stuff--and Big Boutros, for his non-insightful awesomeness.

My opinion matters more than anyone else's on this board and I'm always correct, so obviously I prefer myself. I post on this board because I'm important.
But in all seriousness, I enjoy this board a ton, there's quite a few quality posters. But I want to acknowledge the contributions of non-michigan posters such as Irish and Notabluefan and any others that brave the MGoBoard at risk of getting negbanged just because of their loyalty.

Many good posters bring a unique perspective - Magnus is the first one I think of in that regard, but there are many more. In fact, as long as you have never started, or thought about starting a CC thread, I like you.

I learned it was best not to play favorites. Most of you have taught me things, made me laugh, shared my anger/frustration/joy in our shared passion. And what family doesn't have those who piss you off from time to time?
