Thurs and Fri are holidays. Always requested off work. As it should be for all of us! Win the game.

This is the one slot Michigan could have played in on Thursday that didn't conflict with me trying to have Parent-Teacher Conferences.  I don't know that this is a net positive, but whatever, Go Blue.

Screw work. I hate when the games are on while my kids are up. They don’t like sports and hog the tv with their Xbox. So school night means bedtime at 9:30. I get to watch in peace and quiet.

Wow, that’s garbage. Nothing like playing in a shit time slot. Great to see Dirty Tom gets his 7 pm home game Friday. At least another elimination at the hands of Duke is predetermined.

If its what you say it is, I love it!

8:50 Chicago time is only slightly too late to start a college bball game.

I'm actually happy about this.

Would much rather play super late at night than super early in the day, to be convenient.

However, back to back B1G Tournament Championships say that we like playing early...

There's a good chance that you're correct, but it's not guaranteed.  They could decide to put the Michigan game on first and then the Kansas game afterward if they wanted to do so.  There aren't any rules.

mates,

not worth a separate thread, but some regular old threads won't load.  fortunately mgoblog will, but for instance espn.com sits and grinds endlessly.  local news site, grinds endlessly.  i would think its a denial of service, but not for a rinky-dink local place and espn.

oldest son said maybe its a 'net neutrality' deal?  any thoughts?

thank you and go blue!   here's to having dark circles under our eyes on friday a.m.

We are not facing any team or any geographical barriers that seem to be unfavorable. Beating Houston, or North Carolina, or Xavier will not be easy at all. However, if we play well, we could beat any of those teams. Also, none of those teams well enjoy a particular geographical advantage over us at all. (you could argue Houston, but I bet there are not that many Houston basketball fans who will be traveling up to Wichita on Saturday).

I was hoping we’d get the night season. I work 2 and a half hours away in Lacrosse, KS and now I can make it to the games. Ticket prices are dropping fast because clearly brokers were hoping KU got the late slot. A ticket that was 156 2 hours ago I just nabbed for 70 bucks. GO BLUE!!! See you there if you’re going!!!

But I just wanted to get into the building. Not bad seats though, 3rd row in 207. I’ve been to Intrust many times and there’s really not a bad seat in the joint. A nice little arena. Haven’t been to a Tourney game since Clemson in KC. I was in college at the time and sold my XBox for tickets lol. Much easier to get them this time
