Yes! Duncan was awesome. Also, how did the 5 seed wind up playing the 11 seed when the lowest seeded team, Rutgers, at 14, was still alive.

Mathews hit one. Livers hit like a 15 footer. Literally DRob hit every other shot. Can't duplicate that again this year. Poole, MAAR, mo...nothing. Z, Livers, Matthews not surprising, not great shooters.

Senior leaders come up big at this time of the season but let’s not forget Teske! Both guys saved us today

I can't believe I'm so thrilled with an overtime win against a shitty Iowa team.  The deck was as stacked against us as it could possibly be thanks to those incompetent (malevolent?) zebras, and we somehow pulled it out.

Hope everyone other than Duncan got their shooting woes out of the way. And glad that MAAR and Wagner should be well-rested for tomorrow.  I'm going to the game on Saturday if we get there -- if not for yourselves guys, do it for ME.  Pretty please?

Out of our system. Just couldn't break into a double digit lead. Probably more ref. related. Michigan barely touches someone and it's a foul.

i think the entire team played better in the second half.  simpson made a few nice drives, shut down bohannon except for that last shot at the end of regulationn.  he was 2-4 on threes in the 1H, then 1-7 in the 2H and OT.

matthews got after it on D more too, grabbing 7 boards in the 2H.  missed a few bunnies early but ended up solid in the point column.  quiet 16 to lead the team.

mo and maar were solid...while they were allowed to play.

teske was a man on D...a very big man.

Drob was clutch the final 10-15 min.  and he got after it a bit on the boards too.

nice team win, despite the refs.

Holy shit I am attempting to decompress after that game!! I would have definitely been kicked out of MSG for yelling awful obscenities at the referees. Dunc was the MVP! Dude was clutch! That's what SENIORS do! Let's beat the livin' piss out of Nebraska!! GO BLUE!!

I wanted shooting the ball in OT.

Dodged a bullet -- we did everyhting wrong amd still won.

The refs were the MVP's. F them.

Duncan Robinson-the only man who kept our offensive game even close to together.

Teske deserves an appreciation thread even more IMO! He had to basically keep the whole game under control when we couldn't make a single free throw at the end.

Glad we were able to pull out the ugly win. Let's get those free throws back to normal, and then move on to tomorrow. Survive and advance.

Try to go easy on them.  They're not used to having more wins than losses.  They probably don't understand that the quality of the wins matter, or that a win isn't automatically a "good win" just because the team is in the Big Ten.

They also don't understand that bubble teams don't lose at Illinois.

Nebraska absolutely needed this matchup, and if Michigan doesn't do better from 3-land -- and play better D than they did in the first half -- they're liable to get what they actually need, which is a Q1 win.

Michigan is the superior team, but remember that Iowa doesn't play defense -- like, at all.  This game was actually an above-average conference game for them defensively.  So Michigan's going to have to step it up to beat Nebraska tomorrow.

Ty, Duncan Robinson! That was a great clutch performance on both ends of the floor! Also great job Charles Matthews today! He also hit some big shots. He’s been playing like shit, so that was huge. Beat Nebraska!

You know, after the whole season - tournaments and all - is said and done, I would be intrigued by the "Duncan Robinson Confessions Thread". I think there have to be a fair numbe of people here who have said this at some point or another in their fan lives.

Hope they got it out of their system. That was a clunker. Nebraska will be fired up. Michigan needs to do better than 3/19 from deep.

He's been a great team player and never complained when he was sent to the bench. Here's to catching fire in the tourney!
