Move had to be made. Wish…

Move had to be made. Wish things would’ve been different, and wish him well as he was a great player for M and someone I enjoyed rooting for.

Just awful to hear. RIP.

Just awful to hear. RIP.

I don’t know a damn thing…

I don’t know a damn thing about hockey, but isn’t the last link in the OP what you’re talking about?

Wendy Byrde?

Wendy Byrde?

Should work OK. No Dragons…

Should work OK. No Dragons on the schedule either.

Think you’ve got enough…

Think you’ve got enough names?

RIP, Master of Disaster

RIP, Master of Disaster. I’ll be watching some Rocky movies this weekend in tribute.

This is glorious, but I’m…

This is glorious, but I’m spending too much time thinking about whether Jim should be an “O” instead. Tough call.

Eat at Arby’s.

Eat at Arby’s.

What an absolutely fantastic…

What an absolutely fantastic concept! That certainly made me happy fast. Thanks for sharing.

Both featured an outstanding…

Both featured an outstanding CB wearing #2 making a critical interception.

The main RB for each opponent was dinged up and tried to play through pain.

Alabama wanted Rich…

Alabama wanted Rich Rodriguez to be Alabama’s Rich Rodriguez back in the day.

Edit: Beaten to this above. Great National Champion minds and all that. What about DeBoer being their DuBose?

I met a guy at a basketball…

I met a guy at a basketball game (SW Ohio) last night who was wearing a Michigan National Championship 2023 sweatshirt. LAST NIGHT he was wearing it. It looked embroidered; he wasn’t messing around!

As I explained to non-M fans…

As I explained to non-M fans who were asking in December how I felt about the Rose Bowl, this team is a group of outstanding men and, very simply, they deserve to go out as winners. Already immensely proud of their efforts regardless of tonight’s results.

I appreciate the use of…

I appreciate the use of quotes here, because I don’t think I know half of these predictors. Good to see Peter Burns choosing M after a rough go with Amanda Woodward.

Stewart was seemingly all…

Stewart was seemingly all over the field yesterday. He appeared to be roaming with the DBs at one point. Incredible effort that stood out even on a day where lots of guys stood out.

We have a 2-drawer one for a family of 6. It’s been used mainly for vegetables when the standard ovens are full, but recently it’s taken on a new life as my kids have reached the age where they’re eating again an hour after a meal. No preheating, and they can have nuggets/taquitos/mini tacos/other processed crap in minutes.

We have a Ninja that does a bunch of other things that we haven’t used (dehydrates, air broils, roasts, bakes, reheats). Each drawer is about 6 x 9 x 5, so the space goes quickly. And cooking directions often indicate you really only want one layer of food when air frying, although we often ignore this and just shake the drawer’s contents a few times during cooking.

Correct. He needed someone…

Correct. He needed someone he could trust.

Awful to hear. My wife and I…

Awful to hear. My wife and I experienced this twice, although not quite as far along. You doubt everything you’ve done when looking for answers, but the reality is that miscarriages are more common than most realize. Sharing these stories helps people know that they’re not alone.

My advice to anyone experiencing a similar situation is that as brutal as this news is, keep hope. We had two successful pregnancies (totaling four wonderful boys) after our losses. When I hear a story like Dylan’s, I go right back to hearing that awful news in that medical office many years ago, but I quickly shift back to realize how fortunate we are with our boys now. I wish that for everyone who has traveled or is traveling the same path.

BBQ is like M football: Some…

BBQ is like M football: Some like it more when JJ throws more, some like it more when Blake runs more, and some like it more when Rod calls game. In the end, it’s a sweet victory. Same for BBQ: Some like different sauces or none at all; in the end, just shades of victory.

This site has attacked institutions such as Skyline or Miracle Whip, and now Carolina gold. If somebody starts in on Velveeta, I’m going to try to be pissed… but it’s going to be hard this week.

Stay strong. Let them know!

Stay strong. Let them know!

Man, I appreciated him just…

Man, I appreciated him just for the huge improvement in the OL play over the last few years. So, yeah, that whole playcalling and leadership under adversity isn’t bad, either. Thanks, Coach!

Yep—I told my kids about him…

Yep—I told my kids about him throwing. I predicted a throwback to Orji.

Normally, I like watching…

Normally, I like watching some other B1G games, and I root for most other conference teams to become bowl eligible. But I’ve lost interest in the other B1G teams after the last few weeks. We’re on an island now; everybody else doesn’t matter.

Defense travels. Corum when…

Defense travels. Corum when you’ve got to have it. Great team win. LFG!!!!

Oh, indeed!

Oh, indeed!

It’s an issue with…

It’s an issue with admissions.

Most tough guys I’ve known…

Most tough guys I’ve known spend a lot of time telling you how tough they are. You can’t observe toughness; it needs to be verbally hurled at you.

We’ll be back in 2 and 2…

We’ll be back in 2 and 2…

I believe you. Then they…

I believe you. Then they both stink.

Ryan Day is a terrible play…

Ryan Day is a terrible play caller. I said it.

Doesn’t seem like a good…

Doesn’t seem like a good idea to sit back on a young QB and let his elite WRs get open on every play.

I’d like to see someone…

I’d like to see someone compile the winning percentage for the studio officiating experts for all games on a given Saturday, because those guys seem to stink.

Replay is there now. I just…

Replay is there now. I just messed with it; there appears to be a timeline when ads occur. If you FF past one, you’re forced to see 1 minute of ads before you get to the game. And you can’t see where you’re at in the game beyond real-time counter. But at least it’s there if you missed it and want to watch everything from start to finish.

One app crash to start the…

One app crash to start the second half, so I missed the first offensive play. Volume was much lower than other channels, but that could just be my setup. Hated not being able to easily flip to other games, and hated to watch without skipping ads. The latter was a problem for my son, who apparently is behind watching Ahsoka, and I couldn’t stop the promo.

Mmm. Velveeta.

Mmm. Velveeta.

The occasional “will be…

The occasional “will be right back” Peacock screen reminds me of when I was a kid and HBO had about a 30-minute countdown intermission screen when it showed Scarface every other day.

Same

Same. No issues.

Yep, Tirico just said it…

Yep, Tirico just said it goes for basketball, too.

I was wondering the same…

I was wondering the same thing. I signed up for Peacock yesterday (free ad-version for Spectrum customers for one year), and clicked around to see what I could learn. There are currently some Notre Dame football options to watch on there, such as the spring game, so that gives me hope the B1G games will be available for some time after airing live.

While cutting a bell pepper…

While cutting a bell pepper yesterday, I wondered how Vincent Smith was doing, and wondered if he’s still playing a lot of chess.

Tarpley was a dominant…

Tarpley was a dominant player who couldn’t outrun his problems. I’d put him at least #3 on this list if he’d been sober.

And I was telling my kids about Joubert last night; my dad used to think M had a guy named “Joe Bear.”

I met Tim Williams (who was…

I met Tim Williams (who was the punter for Desmond that you referenced) and had a good talk about college athletics with him a few years ago. I learned at that time that Williams got just a piece of Desmond’s foot on the last attempted tackle, which I hadn’t noticed before.

This tourney is where I saw…

This tourney is where I saw the Elam Ending concept for the first time. Also, games are played at multiple sites. Dayton, Wichita, Louisville, West Virginia, and Syracuse have been announced so far IIRC. Might be a good chance to get to a game.

Just teased that it’s coming…

Just teased that it’s coming up.

I’ll be at the Dodgers game…

I’ll be at the Dodgers game Sunday. I’ve never been to Dodger Stadium before, so if anybody has any tips for a newbie, let me have ‘em. Thanks in advance.

Maybe this is why Boss…

Maybe this is why Boss preferred to eat raw liver.

You kept jacking up shots…

You kept jacking up shots from the logo… and then you totally redeemed yourself! Thanks, Wildcats!

Agreed, although I did get a…

Agreed, although I did get a dose of humor from a story related to that tough moment. My son’s baseball teammate gets in my car last night, and the boys are discussing that game and its ending. The teammate describes it as the player “going all Kirk Cousins at the end,” which makes me LOL. The teammate isn’t a M fan, and we live in Ohio. Random but funny.

That small number was really…

That small number was really messing with my mind and lousy vision. I kept thinking that #11 was everywhere—but that was really just a big M. I was right that it was everywhere, at least.
