He also really liked clocking people. He had a couple plays where he absolutely, hilariously, destroyed someone... and at least one of those plays was super borderline. Dude made himself a target, and got hit a couple times by someone who knew how to hit. IIRC, he toned down his act after that.

Tomorrow Night –  Michigan upsets Penn State, the Nittany Lions suffer Harbaugh’s “Saturday Night Massacre” in Not-So-Happy Valley . . . and Michigan's defense replicates what Michigan's defense did to Penn State in 2006.

Got the "44 Years" correct in the headline, but then forgot to correct the typo in the footnote. As you've noticed, "1977" should've read "1973".  Apologies for the confusion; upvote for the old proverb.

I beleive that they just left him there, covered him in dirt, planted grass, and painted a "20" on the grass at the yard line.

To this day, if you're not careful in that part of the field, you can get tripped up over his exposed cleat.

Tomorrow's the night when McSorley becomes acquainted with Mo Hurst, Rashan Gary, Chase Winovich, and all their friends who leave PSU with full bellies and broad smiles.  In the meantime, Barkley becomes good buddies with Bush and McCray.

I hope Michigan bangs them with character, and bangs them with cruelty.
