You could tell from the video of Scarlett talking about the game that he wasn't the brightest bulb. All of his responses seemed made up. He said Michigan's d-line was slow from sideline to sideline, but I bet he hadn't even seen them play. He also said they were "tough to move" but what do you suppose he was basing that on? He seemed stupidly arrogant and glib. And there was a clown in the background mocking the interview. In other words, the whole show down there looks a little ragged around the edges. I have no sympathy for this classless little prick.

By tomorrow, Florida will just be able to load everything into someone's Jeep Liberty and hit the road for this game and still have room to squeeze the mascot into the backseat. Are they going for a Fulmer Cup record that they hope will stand through the ages or something?

I was just thinking this.  IIRC, either Wednesday or Thursday are the days where MGoBlog puts out the game preview along with those awesome visual graphics/printable cards about key men, dangerman, top recruit designations, etc.

In my mind, the staff at MGoBlog are *just* about to hit "publish" on the first of these for Florida, and then news of yet another suspension comes out & they delay publishing to update the situation.

And at this rate, they won't be able to publish until kickoff.

10 players suspended?!?

LOL

Its freaking Year 3 for McElwain! Sounds like a major failure of leadership... I'll be disappointed if we don't beat them handily

McElwain should worry about his own house rather than what Harbaugh does.

This game is now becoming a no win situation...Win you'll get the suspended players exuse like you hear from PSU and they had injuries, and lose look out.

No win situations are nothing new. The 50 years leading up to the arrival of Mr. Chip on his shoulder in East Lansing was one of the longest in history, which was: Lose to MSU and you're a joke, beat MSU and nobody gives a crap. For me personally, I still loved all those wins. Fuck the haters.

Unbelievable but I think its not much of a dropoff to Perine who can actually block a little unlike Scarlett. Its not good having all this stuff coming down right before the game however.

With this statement.

You aren't just "trading" Perine for Scarlett. First, Scarlett was your starter for a reason. Second, this absolutely crushes the depth for the RB position. You can't give a backup 30+ carries in his first game against a top flight opponent and expect him to stay in the whole time.

The 10 suspended players form a special unit which will be deployed in secret on game day with a mission yet to be revealed

As to the people saying it is a "lose-lose" situation.

No, it is really not. At the end of the day, they were given this ranking by the AP and there's no going back. If Michigan wins, it's a top 20 win at a neutral site. Period, end of story.

but Im sure JH is getting these boys ready as if they were playing Bama. Doesnt matter how many guys they suspended, go out and attack like it was for the B1G...

If this game was say our 3rd of the year, I would have a smidge of worry with some players being like "10 players suspended, oh we got'em, this gonna be cake walk"

Since this is the first game, man o man, the fellas are going to be amped as hell and Florida might not be beacuse of all this.
