Not so good for him being our future left tackle though.

...he hates his brother!

Outstanding!! Can't wait to see this kid get better this season as he gets more experienced on the DL. And no chance he'll be an OT, either - LOL!!

assuming a 5-star RB could be the best recruiting class surpassing the 2017 group.

Good stuff. Sounds like a great young man. Proud to share a school with him.

My first thought when reading that exchange was "somebody is doing some good parenting."

My GOD, I am rooting so hard for this kid...put the work in young man and come dominate. This kid is going into his junior year of HS and has some serious maturity.
LET'S KEEP HIM!

sit down for a conversation with that kid, the big OL from Belleville who thinks the world revolves around him! Nice to see kids entering their JR year who have a clue. Can't wait to see him in AA. Build a class around kids who have class!

Let's see..., which one of those two kids do I want? Um,....
August 15th, 2017 at 10:31 PM ^
He just became my new favorite recruit.
August 15th, 2017 at 11:16 PM ^
Seems like a great kid. Although, I wish these HS kids wouldn't give a shit about these journalists covering recuiting cycles. Ask James Harrison or JJ Watt how accurate those fools are.

August 16th, 2017 at 8:32 AM ^
I think JJ Watt would say to use the negativity to drive vs simply ignoring it.
August 16th, 2017 at 8:37 AM ^
Definitely wrong. You could then ask 1000 other guys where the ratings were right and get a more accurate answer
August 16th, 2017 at 11:57 AM ^
The ratings aren't perfect, but that doesn't mean they aren't useful, or reasonably accurate.

He respectfully asked for feedback as he wants to know how he can improve his game. We can all learn from this example. There are a hundred different ways to handle this poorly and he chose perhaps the best way.
August 16th, 2017 at 12:19 PM ^
I feel like you completely missed the point of the entire conversation.
August 16th, 2017 at 6:19 AM ^
If and when this kid signs the on the line that is dotted, this really starts to look like the MACHINE (at least in the recruiting dept). This ain't just another brick in the wall, though it's that as well; it's more.

+1 for Glengary Glenross reference.

Excellent!
It was fairly obtuse, but you got it.

5 star players and why Michigan can't get more of them. Unfortunately, too many of these kids read the press releases about themselves and start to believe all the hype. This can sometimes make them not very coachable and not the best team players. I think this is one thing that makes our coaching staff selective about who they recruit. With Chris Hinton, Michigan gets the best of both worlds - a superbly talented athlete with a great attitude and perspective. I can't wait to see him in a Michigan uniform.
