Noah Cain, No.1 ranked RB in class of 2019, sets a four day visit to Michigan
that's unlikely to be bad.
this guy for our third national championship team
2019 has more potential than any Michigan class in the modern recruiting era. Maybe Ever. The amount of attention we are garnering from the Top Elite talent in the country is something Michigan hasnt seen in a Long Time.
Top Talent Looking At Michigan
JT Daniels #1 QB 5 Star
Noah Cain #1 RB 5 Star
Devontae Dobbs #1 OT 5 Star (We Lead Crystal Balls)
Chris Hinton #2 SDE 5 Star (We Lead Crystal Balls)
Josh Sanguinetti #2 ATH 5 Star
Logan Brown #10 OT 4 Star (We Lead Crystal Balls)
Marvin Grant #2 Safety 4 Star (We Lead Crystal Balls)
The in-State talent for Michigan in 2019 is about as good as it gets . Theres roughly Six 4 Stars and One 5 Star.
All we have to do is beat Ohio State, have a 10+ Win season, and win a decent bowl game to keep this momentum going
We had them last year in the horseshoe save for 2 bad plays on our part and massive fraud from the refs....they are beatble.
I know there are different psychologies involved in different games, but Wisconsin, MSU and Northwestern had them on the ropes last year, and most people here know how I feel about Penn State's perception. We obviously outplayed them and Clemson mollywhopped them. OSU is far from the indomitable machine that they are made out to be.
What gives me the most hope is that Don Brown smothered Urban's offense for 60 minutes. We nearly beat them in the Shoe with an injured QB and a non-existent running game.
That defensive effort reminded me of MSU vs OSU in 2015. Just dominant. If only for Wilton's injury....
OSU can show up for big games. But they lose some really questionable ones and come close in others. Remember them losing to State and a backup QB at home in '15? Or to State in '13 title game. They're a damn good team, but they're beatable. Even this year when they come to AA
is getting pretty full.
I guess I see why you picked your avatar. Must be real popular at all the parties.
Once you go cloven-hooved ungulate you never go back.
Anyone who watched that game knows these teams at top potential are evenly matched
I think Daniels (there are so many QBs in front of him - hard to see the #1 QB coming to UM) and Dobbs (seems like the relationship isn't where it needs to be).
But I would love to get even 4 of the guys on this list!
Dobbs is still 2 years away and his parents are major Michigan fans. I agree that we shouldn't slow play him but I think the relationship will get to where it needs to be. I think we have probably given OSU more of a shot than we would like but I still think he ends up in Ann Arbor.
Of course, the kid could be looking to spread his wings a bit and leave the area. I would certainly understand that - I did the same after college.
Let's hope he stays local for universities and can spread his wings after he gets drafted in the first round of the 2022 NFL draft! I wrote that just so I could write 2022 draft - it is crazy to me how fast time is going.
I did as well, and I think that is the great thing about Michigan: it allows you to go anywhere you want. BUT, you can only go to Michigan once!
Daniels is like Andrew Luck. He's smart enough to go to Stanford and he's the best QB. He would be insane not to go to Jim Harbaugh. He's supposed to visit this month I believe
As for Dobbs I mean we are leading the Ballz so obviously the insiders feel we have a good enough relationship to land him.
#1 OT is in Michigan...........WE BETTER NOT FUCKING LET HIM GO!
The main competition probably will be Stanford for Daniels. Meyer is kissing the ass of every highly rated sixteen out there that may be interested in Michigan. Shit Meyer why don't you have Noah Cain move in with you if your that scared he might go to Michigan. I am sure he paid to have him back on campus before Michigan visit.
DE Harrison and DT Briggs in OH, a bunch of GA kids, Williams and Washington in MO. 2019 has a really good chance to be our best class ever and the best class in the cycle.
Rumler
But if we had to split with OSU, would you take Rumler or Dobbs?
better suited for G or C?
But Dobbs is being recruited (on offense) as an OT. He started as a 2 way player but it seems all offense now.
At 6'4" they would both be guards / center but they are young enough that they could still grow to 6'5" or 6'6"
We are on our way to locking down the state of Michigan. Keep Ohio State away from our guys.
However, I would say that snagging Rumler would finally give us a win in Ohio - haven't had a significant one in a few years now.
Fu&k it, let's get both and end the debate :)
Have not watched tape on them, but I feel Michigan should be able to get both. Now stealing Harrison out of ohio would flat out crush them. Do we really have a shot with him?.
He wasn't a big football fan growing up so he didn't really grow up an OSU fan. That being said, he is probably going to be a 5-star from now until signing day and one of the most coveted prospects in the country. I think we have a really good shot, but we will be fighting OSU, Bama, Notre Dame, etc. His lack of ties to OSU could help us but also open him up to other national powers we will have to contend with.
were looking at OSU/Alabama level recruiting. That would be a really fun group to watch!
That is a lot to look forward to. Thanks for summary !
licking my chops. Yum yum yum.
True receiver recruit I made up...
Yet again, it's a reminder that I am not getting any younger - we're now talking about recruiting cycles in which none of the kids were alive for any part of the 20th century, whereas many of us lived through a nice chunk of it.
Sounds like great interest. Will look forward to the Glengarry, Glenross gifs at closing time.
Buckeyes are a real threat here. He already had a three-day unofficial there in April. When they found out he was going to Michigan for four days they wanted him back again before his trip to Ann Arbor. So he goes back there for a second visit for three more days from the 16th-18th. Harbaugh wants to spend alot of time with him and show him how high of a priority he is. That is the reason for the four-day visit.
Harbaugh just needs to kick the shit out of Meyer. Ohio state talks about crazy Jimmy but I believe Meyer and his coaching staff would do just about anything to land a recruit. That school is becoming very suspect and fan bases across the country are becoming very vocal about osu recruiting. I would love to hear from a recruit what Meyer and his toadies say about UM and Harbaugh. I am sure they follow every five stars visit with what do you need to come play ball at osu. Talk to coach coombs he's got a number of a guy who can make that happen. Meyer was foul at Florida and when things started getting suspect there he developed the infamous chest pains that miracuosly just went away. At the time osu fans were against Meyer and were maybe the loudest of all, but funny know that he is at osu he runs the straightest program out there. BULLSHIT!!.
Long way to go but man that would be a tremendous get!!
GO BLUE!!
