Two more football players depart Michigan State program
Sorry if this has already come up, but I didn't see it anywhere.

Kenney Lyke and Kaleel Gaines have both left the program, totaling 7 players with eligibility that have left the team since the end of 3-9. It's unclear why Gaines left, but it is reported that Lyke left because he fell a credit short of a semester course load and is likely going to attend Ole Miss either next year, or the following year. (I camped with Lyke before, he's not a dumb guy, just wanna throw that out there before people attack his character)
With the 3 suspended players still up in the air, MSU is looking at possibly losing 10 scholarship football players in an offseason. That is an insane amount of attrition.
upvoted so you're now 3 -9
feel bad for THAT whydoncha
intentional - nice job!
Wow, talk about death by a thousand cuts. It would not surprise me if someone in senior leadership at MSU athletics moves on due to the turmoil.
Ok I am a big advocate of legalizing weed, but I think its also funny that Rich Homie Quan is facing a huge sentence for a felony weed charge, considering he's a big proponent of their team, while all this shit is happening. Like even their celeb fans are dropping like flies.
Didn't lyke it there anymore, neither felt they had much to gaines
I'm starting to think Dantonio may get canned.
Personally, I don't hate Michigan State. But I am glad, in a practical way, that they are going back to little brother status and leaving the best in state recruits to Michigan.
Now we can set our sights squarely on beating Ohio State. They're coming to the Big House, and we'll be ready.
Many states have teams that dominate in state recruiting by default. I'm personally more interested in winning the 5 star Georgia recruits away from the SEC
Also i think at Wisc/Pedo St and vs Florida will be major hurdles before then and have to win at least 2 of them to have the Ohio game mean much
At this rate, by July the average team meeting is going to look like this:
At one point is there an NCAA inquiry into things here? Is there a possibility of a LOIC charge? Eligibility issues?
Wha.......? I didn't downvote you, because you only have two points to give. But if this is some "reverse jinx" thing you have going, you might rethink it. On the other hand, if you're serious, maybe I'll downvote you after all.
better worry about WMU poaching their remaining good player. They might prefer a shot at winning a mid-major conference that puts kids in the league over roasting marshmallow over burning tires...
