Another glorious football Saturday (even if no "big" games are happening, it's still college football).
Looking forward to UM getting a solid road win at Kinnick.

Is anyone else morbidly curious about the MSU / Rutgers game just to see how bad it could really get for both teams? Neither of them have to be looking forward to this one, so I expect to be able to see them mentally check out sometime in the first quarter after the the first team achieves the highlight, like a first down or a completed pass or something.
I feel pretty comfortable about our game, of course. I was slightly nervous about this one back around Labor Day.

i mean, if you knew for sure that two old cars were going to crash in front of your house at a specific time and there was nothing you could do to stop it (and nobody hurt), wouldn't you get your lawn chair out there in the front yard to watch the smash-up? i would too....

That team has gone from an amazing rise to greatness over a span of about 7 years to plummeting to great depths in 7 games. Never seen anything like it. I expect a shootout the Spartans will lose by giving up the final go ahead drive, failing on their subsequent possession, then having to experience Rutgers kneeling the ball three straight plays to end the game.

but I think Sparty manhandles them pretty easily.
They just have too much talent.

is the most important game of the season in my eyes...Yeah Yeah I know OSU is huge but it wont be as huge if they dont win THIS game...If we win then its looking like the best case scenario is a Final Four Berth and worst case a Rose Bowl bid..Either one is a Huge successful season.
Im very nervous about this game...Iowa has been a mini house of horrors as of late...
