Guess The Score: Win Stuff for Charity (Disrespekt Edition)

Submitted by boliver46 on

Last week I was again impressed by the giving nature of the MGoBlog Community when I ran the Guess the Score, Win Stuff: Illinois challenge.

Several folks including our very own Seth, offered to split the donations after more than one person won.

This is the #MichiganDifference and encouraged me to do the same for MSU tomorrow!

The DEETS:

Closest Guess to the Final Score Tomorrow vs. MSU, and I will make a $20 Donation to your favorite charity! (No Human Funds, please).

Da Rules:

1. Readers predict the final score of a designated game by placing a guess in the comments, preferably in the format of [M score][hyphen][Opp score], for example "41-30" or "35-31 Michigan", or "28-24 Go Blue", or "38-0 Harbaugh!" etc.

and add another of my own:

2. Place the name of the charity of your choice in the body

2a. If you do not put the charity in your original post but you win, I will donate to Reading is Fundamental http://www.rif.org/

3. If more than one person guesses the same closest score - earliest timestamp wins.

Go Blue!!!

Good Guys - 42
Sparty - 14

MSU scores an early TD when riding the emotion train. And of course, we'll all panic. But Michigan settles in and gets to work on absolutely decimating their offense and all that lay before them.

Their defense makes some stops in the first half to make it a somewhat manageable 21-7 at the half, but they can only handle so much. Then Michigan busts it wide open in the second half and sucks the life out of the stadium. Sparty scores a garbage time TD against the second stringers.

As the clock winds down, we literally sprint across the field to claim the Paul Bunyan trophy. That baby is paraded around the field, and is given a front seat on the bus ride home.

Wounded warriors.  Apologies to Uncle Leo for proximity in prediction, but I think Kenny Allen kicks for 11 points and we disrespecktfully save the rest of our two point plays for OSU.
