Penn State Snowflakes: General Observations

This will be the repository for your thoughts which defy categorization but yet still fit neatly into the category of hot take.

Also, people have asked about it, so if you have rebranding ideas and want to call these threads, something else, I am listening.

Win today was great, just pray Clark sprained something and no tear and can be back in time for the spread teams on the back half of the schedule. Will be interesting to see how the offense plays against a good defense next week, need to probably hit something over the top at some point and can't afford to get in as many third and longs.

Easily the best win of the season. Dominated in every way possible!

p.s. i was happy to see Asiasi get that TD. He was one of favorite recruits of this past class, so it was awesome to see him produce

Good win. Speight was okay, made some good throws, made some bad throws. I thought the CB's opposite of Lewis looked below average. Stribling is going to have to step up BIG time. Now with Clark out, we are going to need a breakout performance from Stribling and whoever replaces Clark. Dline looked good.

but I really hope our guys cut out that black power fist during the anthem next week. I personally won't get mad over that anymore as it's gotten too widespread to stop, but we don't need that unwarranted attention anymore

It's their right to express themselves and they still went out and played with great effort during the game and still celebrated with their team-mates from other backgrounds. I'll worry about it when it causes strife on the team. Until then this is what the first amendment is all about.

Personally speaking, I don't like the form of these protests and think they're aiming at the wrong target, but it's not up to me and there's a good conversation about law enforcement reform that needs to happen.

As close to a perfect game as you'll find when playing a P5 traditional power.

Great game. Amazing crowd to be a part of. Big one up next.

God bless Jeremy Clark. Hope somehow he can make it back.
