On the one hand, you're right about the other coaches. On the other, Freeze has got to be the least popular coach in the conference. The blatant cheating makes the rest of them look worse and he's been stealing recruits (and victories) from the likes of Saban. Coming down hard on Ole Miss could be a better PR move for the SEC and NCAA than a slap on the wrist. They do care about PR.

yeah right, everyone knows the SEC with the possible exception of vanderbilt cheats to no end. Deterrence is totally out the window. Even if they got a 4 year postseason ban, ole miss just had its best seasons ever, entirely because they cheated. Therefore they will not regret this. Likewise freeze made millions, so like he cares about a few game suspension. Deterrence is totally out the window. Floodgates have broken unless the death penalty is used judiciously All any of those teams care about is wins. For that reason, the other teams will see this as opportunity to remove ole miss as a threat, at least for a few years (but not this year rofl)...then it's back to recruits posing with hundred $ bills the day after official visit

I'm pretty sure ol' Hugh is begging the NCAA for this suspension, because he didn't get to spend time with his family this summer. Hopefully being suspended for the first fall practice is enough vacation time!

“There will come a day where we get to stand before the committee of infractions, which are the ones that matter, and we will be held accountable for any wrongdoing that is found, and that’s the way it should be,” Freeze said last week in Hoover.

Oooh, this is the NCAA's golden opportunity to have a "funny that you should say that" moment with Hugh Freeze. Please don't blow this, Emmert. Please don't let this man get out of mowing the lawn because he's got some stupid coaching thing on Saturday.

It is interesting that there is no accountability (or is that accounting) for the money given to these guys! It is all about FAMILY! #HARBAUGH

against Wofford.

In seriousness, Ole MIss plays a really difficult schedule this year with FSU plus their SEC games which includes Georgia from the East
